I came in to look at the facility to board my two dogs for a day and a half and after walking through the facility and asking questions I was horrified. I was told to book the all inclusive which meant two sessions per day outdoor. Outdoor meant a pin on a gravel pit in the blazing sun with no shelter. But the snotty girl assured me they hung a thermometer out there. Here's the worst, they don't give your dog potty breaks but expect them to urinate and defecate in their run. When I asked about feeding they said they only feed at 10 am a cup or 1 1/2 cups depending on size. When I said I'd pay to have extra feedings and walks so they could go potty (7.00 each) I was given a hard time by the snotty brats behind the desk. The facility smelled horrible. It was a nightmare and inhumane to animals!

At the Animal Ark Pet Resort we offer all-inclusive pricing that includes taking the dogs out for potty breaks twice a day. Our outdoor runs have a tarp that covers about half of each run, so the dogs have some shade. We try to get the dogs out, first thing in the morning before it gets too hot, and again later in the day, after the mid-day heat is over. The dogs are out for about 20 minutes each time. You can also have walks on our nature trails for $3.25 each. The trails are heavily wooded, and they are much cooler than it is in the direct sun. We feed once a day but we do offer a PM feeding for $1.00, and we will feed as much as the customer wants. We spent about an hour trying to explain all of this to Ms. Davis, but she was having a hard time understanding. We invite anyone who would like to see our facility to stop in for a tour. We are confident you will be as happy with our service as the rest of our 11,000 regular customers are.
