Our puppy had severe intestinal blockage. Theyre way to pricey, and keep adding charges, and expect you to pay even after your puppy dies on their watch, and instead of calling right when your pup passes, they wait hours after they open. Such an awful business with rude employees.

My dog was perfectly healthy except for hip and joint pain. He was put on Previcox 227. A pain reliever. He was given fve pills, found out later they wanted to see how he did on them. The second day he was having "black"dirreah, they sid it was normal. We woke up the next morning to my dog dead by the bedroom door. I called them and they said they had pulled my file and put it on Dr Weirathers desk so that he would see it as soo as he got there. Noone ever even called. That medicine killed our dog. BEWARE OF PREVICOX!!!!!! It only took 3 pills to kill him.

I have been taking my German Shepherd to Dr. "Wy" for 10 years and I have always gotten exceptional service and been treated very well. I would recommend this Vet to anyone who really loves their pet.

I have taken my dog there for just about 2 years and at first everything was okay. The past two visits have been horrible experiences. The vet even made the comment "this is why we euthanize dogs like you" (my dog is a pit-bull, but by no means a mean dog) He had just been tortured by their staff the previous visit when I wasn't allowed to go back into the exam room with him. Dogs don't forget unpleasant experiences. If you love your animal take them somewhere else. Intelligence is not the main ingredient in their practices!!!

I took my puppy to this clinic and after waiting an hour to see the vet, witnessed him do nothing but belittle his staff & and talk bad about the previous patient. It was extremely unprofessional. I paid for a puppy package called "The Puppy Plan" and everything that should have been included in my first visit was not. I was with my dog the whole time. I decided I would finish out my appts (my package included 3) and then change vets. So...I went back for my second appt. The vet technician seemed caught off guard when I told her I wanted to go back with my pet but she said fine. All she had to do was give him his second round of boosters. She stuck the needle in my poor dog (who was squeeling) and the medicine shot out all over the counter!!! SHE HAD STUCK THE NEEDLE STRAIGHT THROUGH HIS LEG!!! I could not believe it. After that drama was over, I asked to have his ears plucked and the technician (who could not have seemed more unsure of herself) told me she would have to take my dog to another room because that is where the "equipment was". I was not stupid enough to believe that because at my first appt, they just got the scissor-type tool they use and did it right there. There was NO WAY I was going to leave her alone with him. I requested a partial refund and it was denied. Beware of this office.

In need of spay and neutering, I was flabbergasted at the prices quoted. Prices at Southside were fair, making possible what had become impossile. The staff and facilities are wonderful, makes your want to pack a picnic backet. They took care of my animals, not my checkbook. Leaving, I noticed a do it yourself area available for washing your pets. How cute is that?!

Always available and very helpful when and emergency service is needed. Never had any problems with their service or advice with my Lab, cat, horses or cows that we have taken when sick.
