Brought my dog in yesterday for a Bordatella vaccine, walk in. $12 vaccine plus $35 "max office visit" charge.

Today, the dog groomer noted a really bad ear mite infection that I thought was red yeast - the doctor didn't even check my dog's ears, and when I called back today, insisted that if I would like antibiotics, I would need to pay another $35 "office visit," plus an "ear check charge" and antibiotics. Doctor absolutely refused to waive revisit fee, even though he charged me $35 and didn't even check out my dog.

This office is not thorough and exorbitantly overcharges customers - will not be going back.

found ways to add in tons of additional charges. sketchy place. Went once and glad my dog is still alive and healthy. would never return or recommend to anyone.

I have been taking both of my dogs to Animal Fur1st ever since I got them five years ago. The quality of service has always been excellent.

In addition to annual checkups & vaccinations, I have taken my dogs here for the following services:

* neutering at 6 months old,
* surgery to repair a paw that was badly cut on a buried piece of metal while digging in the back yard, and
* surgery to repair a badly cut hind leg caused by a fight with another dog.

Every time, Dr. David has been helpful and straightforward. I was a new dog owner when I adopted my dogs and have received good advice from him over the last five years.

He is also very reasonable. In one case, as soon as I took my dog home from surgery, he completely soaked his bandage by stepping into his water bowl. Dr. David replaced the bandage immediately at no extra charge.

I hope my review provides balance to the "1-star" comments, which, based on my experience, do not appear fair or representative.

I took my cat into this vet b/c she was pregnant and getting a little too bit. I just wanted a check-up and bloodwork done but he proceeded to tell me that he couldn't let me leave with her that he would keep her, give her a c-section and then put her down b/c she was "sick."

when i said, uhhno she's been fine. He came up with another excuse to then charge me extra for not following his orders - i told him he couldn't legally do that, but that i would gladly sign a waiver releasing him but that he couldn't charge me $100 just for not heeding his killing of my cat.

Then he got angry and found some other horrible excuse that she would be dead within a day. i picked up my cat and ran.

She had her kittens - 12- the next day, all perfect, and she's still happy that was four years agonot one disease yet....

If you care about you pets.please don't take them to this hospital. First they are extremely unprofessional. It starts from the lady answering the phone to the main doctor who doesn't seem to have any emotions towards your pet. He will suggest that he operate on your pet no matter how minor the problem. I took my beloved dog (R.I.P) to him for neurological problems and he wanted to open her stomach to see what was wrong with her. I refused because there was no clearity is to why he wanted to operate on her sooo bad. They are all about just money and they will prolong the treatment. he also is very gREAT AT charging you more for everything and then reducing your price to regular price and act like he is giving you this great deal. When he doesn't know how to handle his customers he calls police on them and doesn't come outside to deal with it. He's disgrace to all the professional vets out there. Please don't put your pets through this ordeal because your pets can't tell you how bad this vet and his staff treat them. Many people have lost their loved ones under this doctors care. Please read the negative reviews very carefully and do the right thing!!!!!!...
