Animal Health Center

I began bringing my now 10 year old dog to Animal Health center when I moved to the Marietta area two years ago. They were good the first year. My dog had a reasonably priced surgery, the vet and staff seemed professional and all was fine. In December when I took him for his shots, they tried to sell me $700 in unnecessary tests and "allergy pills" and misdiagnosed a birthmark as a potential thyroid problem. I decided to let it go because I understand everyone is out to make a buck; however, recommending expensive invasive procedures merely because a dog is "geriatric" is reprehensible. Today I received a marketing letter from Ceva/Animal Health Center. They deny selling my information for marketing purposes nor providing information to Ceva. This is the last straw. If you want a Vet who treats you and your animals like a commodity and is happy to sell your private information then by all means go there. If not, go ANYWHERE else! I picked up his records today and I will never go back.

I have taken my dog Roxy here for the past 7 years. All I can say is that I will never change vets(:

I recently moved to the area and found this wonderful facility online. I have since started taking all of my cats here and couldn't be more pleased. The staff are all gentle and caring. Dr. George, Dr. Beasley, Eve, and Karen were all extremely helpful. Aside from giving me great advice and providing all the products I currently use, they were very gentle and patient with my cats (who were not so keen on the idea of being at the vet). I am happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a well run, clean, efficient and caring animal hospital. I thank them so much for the hardwork and expertise they provide.

I have 5 animals that I have been taking to Animal Health Center for the past 2 years. I have always felt completely comfortable with the care that is given to my pets especially knowing one of my pets is very difficult at times due to the fact he doesn't do well with strangers. They take the proper precautions necessary not only to keep themselves safe, but also my pet.
One of the best things about Animal Health Center is that they are a full service vet which makes it very convenient for all my pets needs in one place. I board them for the weekend and then have them bathed before I pick them up. If I’m not able to do an appointment I can always drop my pet off for the day and pick up before they close.
I have been to other clinics before coming to Animal Health Center and found that they have the fairest prices. Not only on medical services but especially for boarding and grooming. I highly recommend both Animal Health Center and Animal Care Clinic to anyone that wants the best care for their pet.

My 15 year old Golden Retriever had been a patient of Animal Health Center for many years. I have always had excellent service from everyone at this office. Everyone is very friendly and compassionate, from the Doctors and the Vet Techs to the people behind the desk. I was especially pleased with the way we were treated this past year. In June we had to have our beloved pet put to sleep due to old age. The staff at Animal Health Center was very caring and compassionate in our time of grief. The Doctor tried to help prolong her life on our visit by offering us different choices to see if it would help.

After trying her on a new medicine for about 5 days, we realized that we needed to make the decision to have her put to sleep. When I took her in the staff was very sweet to me. I had to bring her in by myself because my husband was at work. They made sure that I was ok. I felt very comfortable in making this hard decision because of the caring staff. I am very appreciative of everything they do for the care of our pets.
