Use them about 12x, dog picked up in good shape
I've never had a problem with this kennel. I hate to hear people say they had problems but we never have. Our dog is in good shape when we pick him up and not excessively tired, which is good compared to previous kennel we used. This at least tells me he's getting his meds. We always bathe him before we pick up and he obviously is clean but previous kennels that didn't matter much so that is encouraging also. As a memeber of the Boarding Kennel Association they are inspected at some time. This is why we chose the place, we've had good luck in other cities with BKA kennels.

Stitches, Drainage Tube and Meds!!
We have taken our dogs there for a little over a year now and it has always been great. They have stayed as long as two weeks and we have never had a problem. This last weekend we were out of town and we were not even an hour outside of town when I got a call saying that our dogs had been in a fight. Our dogs are fine together but not when they are closed in small spaces and there is food present. When we dropped them off, we let them know that they had to be in separate runs which we paid for (they have a cheaper rate when you combine the dogs into one run). One of our dogs got into the other dogs run. They say he chewed through the chain link and climbed over the cinder block wall, not sure how that happened but anyway, the Inn called to tell me about it and to offer to take them to the vet..for a fee!! Plus we would have to pay the vet bill when number one on their contract is that they will keep ""animals safely enclosed""! When we went to pick them up we still paid the boarding fee, after all when you eat at a restaurant and the food is bad you still have to pay, but when we said we wanted to talk to someone about covering the vet bill, they said they would try and get in touch with the owner but that he was touring Asia. It has been about 4 days since this first happened, 24 hours since we picked the dogs up and we are taking our dog to the vet for multiple stiches, a drainage tube in his neck, meds and then first thing tomorrow we are filing against them. While the girls there seem to love our dogs, any place that can't secure their animals and then refuses to pay the medical bill for their failure is unacceptable. It is a risk I am not willing to take ever again. ...

I can't recommend Animal Inn.
They are cheap and convenient. That's the only positive thing I can say about the place.

I went to place my dogs there early this month. I asked for a tour of the facility. She almost seemed annoyed. The girl I was talking to, Kenya, gave another girl a "look". That girl left to the back area. A few minutes later, she came back, returned a "look" and I was taken back. That gave me the impression they cleaned or had something to hide.

I tried to talk to a few kennel workers and they just smiled and left while I talked. Kenya laughed and told me none of them spoke English! That was funny?

Ask them for proof the animals have current vaccinations and they get pissed. I want to know the animal next to mine isn't sick.

I didn't check my dogs in. I took them on the road trip with me.

worst experience ever
Checking into the Animal Inn was the most dreaded experience I have ever had. The girl that checked our dog in was comparable to Cruella Deville from the Dalmations. She never made any kind of eye contact and when we asked her a question, she would act as though we were bothering her. The dogs in the kennel were all barking and crying. Had it not have been the holiday we would have transferred to somewhere else. When she came around the corner to bring our dog in, she wrapped a noose rope around his neck and literally dragged him in crying. No treat. No welcoming petting. Nothing. When we picked him up 2 days later he was soaking wet because they were apparently hosing his crate down to clean it, with him in it. I would also like to add he now has an upper respiratory infection. I would never, ever bring my dog there again.
