I like the cleanliness of the center and the support staff is very nice. However, I recently had a dog with a skin problem and ear infection. I'm a RN and it looked like mites to me - i.e.mange. I was recovering from surgery and had my teenage son take her in. I did not want a lot of tests - she saw Dr. Josh. My son said this dr told him he'd come to the wrong place if we only wanted the minimum done. He was going to give us a medication for $80 - that we could hae filled by the pharmacy at Target for $10! And he wanted to give he a steroid shot for $60, when Benadryl would accomplish the same thing. This was the 2nd dog I'd taken that they wanted to add a bunch of stuff on at the last minute. We won't be going back. They don't seem to look at the dog or the owner's situation - only how to rack up your bill.Furthermore, if you're a vet, you should know what mange looks like without doing a skin scraping! I'd think that's a basic.

Dr Bowen and staff have moved about a 1/4 mile and renamed to Ark Animal Hospital plus added boarding services along with additional veternarians. He has been our pets' veternarian since a friend referred me back in 1993. He is always patient, knowledgeable including new techniques, and an superb value for the area. I am sure as he grows these excellent traits will continue.

They have moved down the street and are now called The Ark. Dr. Bowen has brought in Dr. Hatchett now, they are both great. They take the time to talk to you and answer questions. You can tell they love animals and all mine seem to be comfortable when I take them there. The staff is wonderful also, very friendly.
