I had gone with my two older cats who are very easy to handle at the vet. They stiffen up out of sheer terror. The staff made fun of them but the vet was OK. I thought they were expensive and charged for things other vets don't. Then I rescued two kittens who were very wild. The staff called them the "crazy girls". I was charged twice for office visits I never had. I never saw a vet --- just the staff. The spay incisions were poorly done. The prices were outrageous compared to other practices. I know of 2 other people with cats who won't go back either. Maybe they're OK with dogs, but unable to work with cats, and especially former strays. Feline rescuers should avoid this practice, IMHO. Maybe that's what they want?
The Animal Medical & Surgical Center has cared for my pets for years and I would not use anyone else. They are all warm, caring and compassionate. My pet, Chief, lived to a happy old age because of the medical care he received. He had kidney disease and arthritis as he aged and the doctors knew just what to do to help him.
I have been a customer of AMSC for 15 years and have had pleasant experiences every time. The staff is warm and inviting and the doctors are the best in the business.
My first puppy broke his leg and Animal Medical and Surgical Center made this tramatic experience much easier to deal with because of their kind words and assurance that he would be fine. The surgical work done on his leg was done to perfection. His leg healed and he is a new dog thanks to AMASC!
