I took my two cats Pico and Lulu in for check-ups and shots the other day, and the techs and vet were great with them. You could really tell they love animals there. I scheduled a teeth-cleaning for Lulu a few weeks later and they took great care of her, calling me to let me know about her treatment and sitting down with me to explain in detail about follow-up care. Plus they were less expensive than my last vet, which was in a much smaller town.

Shopped the neighborhood 18 years ago and chose Ansley Animal Clinic. They've taken care of 6 pets over the years. Now we're down to 2. Put an old Golden down this morning. Dr. Kearney and staff were kind, compassionate, and very accomodating. We were in the best hands! She gave us our options and patiently allowed us to come to our decision. I appreciate her empathy and respect for the difficult moments.

We've been going to Ansleyl Animal Clinic for 18 years. Five pets have received the best care imaginable. All the vets in the practice are competent, caring and communicate well with their clients (as well as their patients). You really feel as if you are in a community that cares.

After having a negative experience related to Ansley not faxing prescriptions to Pet Meds and a brand-new vet who prescribed meds that were not helpful, I went to Ansley to pick up my dog's records with the intention of never going back. The owner took the time to personally meet with me and discuss the situation. I appreciate the time he spent and decided to keep going to Ansley.

I love this vet. They have taken such good care of all of my cats over the years I can only say nice things about them. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere other than here. They truly have your pets best interest at heart.

This is a top notch animal clinic. They always treat my dog with the best of care. The staff is friendly and Dr. Kearny is a great doctor!

After going through a couple of simply horrible vets, I changed to this one and have been very satisfied. It has a "small town" feel - nice friendly staff in a casual environment. While there's one lady that always looks to be in a bad mood, everyone else is very sweet to my dog and gets us in and out without waiting forever. Good job.

We have been going to Ansley Animal Clinic for over 15 years. Dr. Woody (as well as all of the other vets) have taken time to know not only our pets, but also our family. He's helped us through a cat with many more than nine lives, and four dogs with problems that always arise. He always discusses ALL of the options, and is never afraid to tell us what each costs, understanding that while we love our pets dearly, money doesn't grow on trees. Sometimes we've had to wait, even though we've had an appointment, but that happens anywhere. I'd rather wait and know that my vet is taking time with the appointments, than be rushed in and out so they can stay on schedule. I live in Athens now, but because of my dogs medical history, I still drive to Atlanta to see the vets at Ansley Animal Clinic.

Dr Woody and Dr Brower saved the life of my cat! I had taken him to another vet that really didn't care and put my cat in more danger. Ansley Animal Hospital had to clean up after that vet's mistakes. My cat, Two Toes, is so lucky they are around. They have great hours, great staff, and are even available via phone.

I started using Ansley Animal Clinic in April and have only good things to say about them! Even though I know they have a huge customer base, they treat me like I'm their only customer. I used them for my new Chihuahua puppy and fromt the initial exam and shots to the follow-up shots, everything was superb. They have approx. six doctors on staff so you know your animal will always have great care! They are fantastic when it comes to boarding as well. Their kennel staff loves my puppy and even made the comment that she was held for almost 10 hours a day! (She's only 2.5 pounds!) They really make over her when we come in and make us feel like valued clients. I really don't have anything to compare the prices to since I'm a new pet owner, but everything seems fairly reasonable. I've heard that $20/night for boarding is a little high, but I think that is pretty standard in Atlanta for a small dog. I look forward to a long, continued relationship with the fine staff and doctors at Ansley!

Ansley Animal Clinic has some of the most compassionate veterinarians in Metro Atlanta. I have live all over the city and I have yet to find a more talented group of people. They are kind and caring. When I had to put one of my cats down because of cancer, the vets stayed with me until I was able to drive home. Notice I said vets. More than one stayed and more than one helped me in my grief. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

That's how long my animals have been going to Ansley, and I have NEVER had a bad experience! Now my 5 children see Dr. Brower (ONLY since 1997) and I cannot say enough good things! She is always patient, caring, helpful and cost minded, never leary of guiding me to alternatives and always treating my dogs like they were her own. For those who have had a bad experience, try again. Second chances are what we all want...I would give Ansley 10 stars if I could!

When my dog and I first moved to Atlanta, we didn't know of a good vet and someone referred us to the Banfield at Petsmart to start. It was a horrible experience-- hour+ waits even with an appointment, rude staff, and mysterious extra charges appearing on the bills when I would finally check out. They actually tried to guilt me into extra tests and medicines saying that they were just telling me what they would do if she were a child, and didn't I want the best for her? Ok, my dog lives the life of a queen and has no idea that she's a dog. After 2 or 3 times of the same, I refused to go back. After reading reviews on this site, I called Ansley. I've been there twice now (both with Dr. Squires) and am extremely satisfied. Everyone there was very caring with my dog. The facility is not super fancy or high tech, but the people and the care are great, and that's the most important part. We will definitely be going back and recommending Ansley to anyone who asks!

I chose this vet primarily based on the positive reviews on this Web site and I must say I was extremely disappointed. The staff at Ansley Animal Clinic were extremely disorganized. The vets rushed us out the door with a prescription and did not take the time to answer my questions about my puppies condition. When I called back for clarification on the condition and dosing instructions, I received an "I don't know" in response to my questions, with no attempt to try and find the answer. I thought my question was something a vet's office should be able to answer: "What type of parasite was found in the fecal test?" I was also told: "It's not a big deal" and "The medicine only costs $8" This last comment really upset me because I was concerned about the health of my puppy and not the cost of the medication. When I tried to explain that, the staff said they would have a vet "call me back", which never happened. I would not recommend this vet to anyone, especially first-time pet owners. I also had Dr. Kearney as my vet and I was very disappointed with her abrupt and cold manner with my puppy. I wondered if she even likes animals!!
