Prior to leaving this review, I addressed my issue with CarolAnn Fitzpatrick (co-owner) over 2 months ago. This gym is owned by Jeremy and CarolAnn Fitzpatrick. We were members for over a year. Everything was fine until personal trainer Susannah had a baby and decided to bring her infant (now toddler) child to the gym with her while she works with clients. This child is a normal child, screaming at the top of his lungs while I am trying to do Yoga. I reviewed my contract and it clearly states, "Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted in the CLUB." We sent CarolAnn and Jeremy Fitzpatrick an email the first time this incident happened and the response was, "we have spoken to Susannah previously regarding having her baby at her Training sessions - we have told her that she may need to cancel her PT classes if there is continuous crying or some other disorder in the gym." Over 2 months after my initial email, the rules continue to be broken by personal trainer, Susannah. If you like screaming kids, please by all means join this gym. If you are looking for a gym full of adults, go elsewhere.

I would like to respond to Caroline Dunn's statement above. My name is Jeremy Fitzpatrick & my wife is CarolAnn Fitzpatrick. We are co-owners of Anytime Fitness Crabapple.
First, I would like to apologize to the trainer at our gym who suffered from Ms. Dunn's remarks. However, the real injured party in all of this is an 18-month-old adorable baby boy. As a parent myself I am indeed offended by Ms. Dunn's actions and so are many of our members at the gym.
Ms. Dunn's membership was terminated from Anytime Fitness for breaking one of our safety rules which has caused the exploitation of a minor. Our Contract clearly stipulates (Photography and/or videography are not allowed anywhere in the CLUB). Ms. Dunn chose to withhold this Statement from her online posting.
Ms. Dunn has made reference to only one line of our Agreement, however, Ms. Dunn has deliberately misled the public to believe that this one line has no contingencies. An additional Term of our Agreement stipulates that "The Club retains the right to modify these policies without warning". Our Club is a kid-friendly, family environment. We offer KidZ Zubma and many of our members workout alongside their kids of various ages, as long they are supervised by their parents.
The parents of this little boy have considered legal action against Ms. Dunn as they did not grant permission for her to take a picture of their child and post that picture on multiple public websites. At Anytime Fitness, we do not condone this kind of act.
Since Ms. Dunn brought the first incident to our attention 2 months ago, we not only addressed the matter with the trainer, we have also endured her threats to leave the gym "IF" it ever happens again. We did notice that Ms. Dunn transferred her membership to another facility almost a month ago,, so our gym is no longer her home gym. Why she let this incident bring her to a point of shame and embarrassment is a mystery. This child, as well as others, has been in our gym on other occasions and no one but Ms. Dunn has had an issue. It is not the norm for our trainers or group instructors to bring their kids to the gym while they work but stuff happens. It's called "LIFE". As owners, my wife and I make allowances at our discretion. This child was not screaming or crying or bothering anyone else in the club. As long as our policy is not abused we will continue to be supportive owners to our trainers & members that have kids. So, tell us, Ms. Dunn - Was it just this Child that bothered you so much, or are you offended by all Children?
Do not sign a contract with this club!!! Fraudulent charges have been made on my card each month since terminating my contract. When I called to discuss this, the elderly woman who owns the club hung up on me. Her husband then answered and insisted he had not spoken with me. Thank goodness my bank has now refunded the money and plans to investgate thier company. It appears I'm not the only one they have done this to.
