We needed to remove a large dying tree that was in a difficult spot in our backyard, but it was leaning toward our house and needed to come down. Ryan and Shawn responded to our call quickly and charged a very fair price. We would use them again.

Extremely impressed with Sean and Ryan. Very professional and courteous. They were also very flexible with my schedule. The crew came in and they were fast, efficient and did an excellent job. While they were here, a neighbor was so impressed with their work that they hired them to do a job for them. I will never use another tree company again. In addition, their prices are extremely reasonable. Their quotes were fractions of what some other company wanted to charge us.

We had 23 trees removed from our property. Communication was excellent leading up to and during the job. It was a 2 day job and I was out of town for business while the actual work took place. Ryan and / or Sean called at the end of both days to keep me updated on progress. I could not have been more pleased with the delivered results, affordability, and surprisingly high level of communication. Would highly recommend.

In my years owning a home, tree removal was one thing that I had never had to have done. A week ago, I'd noticed a pine tree that was completely dead and was near the house. If it were to fall, it would have taken out part of the house or a covered porch. I had coupons in the mail flyers and I had left messages for other services. (By the way, none of them have called back to this date.) I called Appalachian and Sean answered the phone and took my information. Ryan/Sean came out the day after I'd requested a quote. I met them in the driveway The first thing Ryan said was, "Is it the dead pine in the backyard?" This surprising as our house is on a hill and it was not easy to see the problem tree with all the other trees. At that point, I knew that I was dealing with professionals. We walked around the property and I noted other things that I'd like to have done. (Pruning a Dog Wood in front of the house, Pruning a Cherry Tree on the side over the drive and clearing a hill for brush and saplings.) Ryan gave me what I considered to be a fair quote. The confidence I had with the two from our walk around was sufficient that I did not need any other quotes. Trust is something that is big to me and they presented as stand up guys. Flash forward, they noted that they could do the service yesterday or today. It ended up being that they completed it a couple hours ago. They cleaned up, were quick and there is no damage. I'd use them again.

I had two dead trees that needed to be cut down and a dead tree that needed to be removed from my back yard along with a lot of debris. Appalachian gave me the estimate when promised, were here the day they promised and got the work done quickly. I highly recommend them.

Ryan and his team were pros from start to finish. Beginning with the estimate and the plan to have a dying Cypress tree taken down and some horrible Bradford pears cut back which were hanging over our entire front yard and had killed all of our grass. Since our neighbor refused to go in halfsies with us to just cut the terrible things down, Ryan planned out careful cutting which would make everyone happy. His crew arrived on time and worked quickly. And his prices were very reasonable. We were very happy with the entire experience.

He did terrific work for me at the right price, and was even patient while I decided what I wanted/needed to have done. Very professional and reliable. I recommend him very highly.

We recently had 7 trees removed from our wooded backyard. When I called for an estimate, Ryan came out the same day. His team did a great job removing all of the trees in about an hour. The removal truck came by shortly afterwards to remove all the debris - and even raked the area of loose leaves and small branches! I will use them again - affordable, friendly, fast, and professional!

We recently had 12 tall pine trees removed from our yard. Ryan and his team did a great job removing all of them and the stumps in one day. I was particularly impressed with the surgical removal of a couple of the trees near our house and a dogwood - all left damage free. I would recommend them to anyone needing this type of work done.

Last week we had 16 very large trees cut down and removed from our yard. Appalachian Tree Service did an excellent job. Ryan, the owner, did was great in contacting us and his crew arrived on time both days. His crew was amazing. They dropped the trees accurately and without any damage to existing plants. They cleaned up the debris in the yard and in the road. I would definitely recommend them and will call them again if needed.
