Appalachian Tree Service of Atlanta, Inc. is locally owned and operated. We specialize in pruning to the ANSI 300 standards along with tree removal and green waste hauling.
There are many reasons why ATS has built a large and loyal following of customers who call us and recommend us to their friends, family and neighbors - year after year. At ATS, our philosophy is that there should be a more holistic and comprehensive approach to tree care. As we see it, pruning and removal should be done for a good reason, as determined by a qualified diagnosis. We guarantee that we will provide you with a full team of experienced professionals and provide unlimited quality service with a great amount of affordability.

At Appalachian Tree service, we're constantly implementing new strategies for becoming more environmentally responsible. We are excited about a new opportunity to bring all our tree debris to a green energy plant to help create clean burning energy.
They did what they said, and a little extra. I was very happy with their service and clean up. I will call them every time.
Fast, reasonable estimate. The workers were over the very next day to remove 2 trees. They were quick and efficient. Would certainly use this company again.

My husband and I Googled tree services in Woodstock and chose three companies to do free estimates for trimming and brush removal. Ryan and Dave from Appalachian met and mostly exceeded all our expectations. Prompt with communicating, concise with explanations, and thorough with their work - I will be calling them again!
Based on other reviews, I chose these guys to trim a couple large pines in my front yard and remove one in the back yard. They showed up on time, ensured that their crew understood what I wanted, and took care of the job at a very fair price. They are at the top of my list next time I need similar work done and recommend them to others.
Ryan was on time, business like, and professional. I especially appreciate the estimate quote and insurance verification that was emailed to me. The Appalachian Tree Service crew was on time, worked with great care for my house and yard, and cleaned up everthing. I think this crew went above and beyond what one would expect. Besides working carefully, the cost was resonable. I highly recommend Applachian Tree Service.
Showed up late, didnt finish the job, left the place a mess, the tree guys were either drunk or on some sort of drugs. I know have to find someone reputable to do the job. Dont believe everything you read in the comments, they must be able to delete the bad ones.
Had App Tree Service provide a face lift to 9 trees. Excellent service. On time. Cleaned up well!
Amazing Services are hard to come by these days. Two weeks ago we noticed our five trees in our back yard were infested with bugs. I was planning to cut them down in the Fall due to current family budget, but a local man and woman came to my house and presented a solution to cut down the trees dirt cheap. They showed and said they had insurance. We trusted them. Long story short, we got screwed. They damaged other healthy trees and my fence. Fortunately, they missed our house. I went onto Kudzu and found Appalachian Tree Service. Ryan was extremely professional and willing to go the extra mile to earn my business. They cleaned up everything after they were done and stacked a little bit of wood for our fire pit. In addition, they helped clean up the mess from the local morons that first tried to complete the project.
Arrived for the estimate appt. when he said he would (called to say he would be 10 min late). Great estimate, great honest advice. Guys showed up on time the next day (did the job the next day, since they were in the area). Great, careful work - even cleaned up the driveway (looked better after they left than before). Will definitely use again and recommend!
I just had Appalachian Tree Service prune my birch tree in my front yard. In addition, they also took out some bushes and a small tree in my back yard. They were efficient, clean, courteous and it was done in record time. I am extremely happy with the job they did!
We had Appalachian remove 35+ large trees, mostly pine, from our backyard at the end of January 2010. This was a big job with difficult access to the backyard with extremely large pines within feet of our house. The crew worked extremely hard for 5 days and was very flexible when we added trees to take down along the way. Thanks, Dave!
Professional. Knew what they doing. Removed 3 dead trees and pruned trees. Removed all branches and debris. Left yard clean. Would definitely recommend their services.
I had a rental property that had 4 dead trees that were very close to the house, another tree that had power lines running through the limbs, overgrown holly bushes and other smaller bushes that made the property impossible to rent. Dave looked at the property and then emailed me a very profesional proposal that detailed all the work -- it was the most thorough proposal I had received of the 4 I received. The work was completed when they said it would and at the price they listed on the proposal(which was very competitive). They were extremely hard workers and I was especially impressed with the clean up - they went above and beyond what I expected. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again.
I was able to schedule an appointment to get a quote the day after I called. The final invoice matched the quote and they completed the job within their time estimates. I had about 8 trees removed, some down from storms and drought and some that were dying and thought the cost was reasonable. They did a great job and cleaned everything up afterwards. They were all professional and friendly and took care not to damage landscaping. I will use Appalachian again and would recommend them to others.
I had a relatively small job. I just needed four trees removed. Ryan came out with an arborist and they gave me alternatives to removing one tree that I really didn't want cut down. They were the only tree company out of about seven that offered any other alternatives. Ryan was able to fit my small job in even though there were storms and several emergency tree removals that came up. Appalachian is very professional and experienced. They removed my trees, cleaned up and besides the trees being gone it was as if they were never here! They also honored the $100 off stump grinding and matched another competitors bid for the job. I will definately use them for any tree/landscaping needs in the future.
ATS removed nine large pines from our property in one day. The drops were expertly directed and there was zero collateral damage. They were kind enough to put in a 12+ hour shift in order to keep our follow up projects on schedule. They were precise, fast, professional, and every employee brought knowledge to the table. They taught me about how to care for and improve what trees remain and authoritatively answered all my questions. They enjoy sharing knowledge, as opposed to hording it and using that fear to generate more business. They were also probably the nicest bunch I’ve ever hired for any contract work. I’d feel comfortable referring them to my own kids. They took the time to with us, and they did the job right…something I don’t see very often either. The skill to climb, cut, and guide drops so specifically is mesmerizing to watch. Their ability to extract difficult trees can probably only be appreciated after you’ve seen it done poorly. You get what you pay for, and they are the top 1% of their craft. Truly a priceless contact for the rolodex. Just ask Dave for my phone number if you want a reference. –Will Squires
I had previously removed over 2 dozen trees from my property, but five trees remained that were located between my house and and some power lines. I'm not the kind of guy who pays someone else to do my work, but I did not have adequate equipment to remove these trees due to thier location. ATS came out when they said they would, worked with me on the price, and did a good job. I would recommend ATS to my friends and family.
