We were told by our previous A/C company that our unit needed to be replaced, and the cheapest unit that would work for us cost $8,000.00. We said "no thanks" and started saving our pennies. When it finally died, we called Apple Air. They came out immediately (after hours), fixed what they could, explained what couldn't be fixed & why, and sent out a salesman the next day to discuss the choices. The most expensive choice was considerably cheaper. They installed it the next day, and it works great! Such an improvement over the old unit! Also, my hubby has had a runny nose the whole time we have lived in this house, but it stopped running with the new A/C unit. What a great side effect! I highly recommend this company.

Apple came out to look at my AC unit for regular PM maintenence (I have or had contract with them). One unit they could not do becasue I was having a thermastat problem ("can't do it without therm working...."). Tech said I had a mold issue and that he could install (2) UV lights (that he just happen to have on the truck) total cost a little over $600. New thermastat $450 installed. Found brand new on ebay $199. Well I got a second opinion and thermastat was NOT broken, a wire on compressor outside was rubbing and shorting out unit. Would have thought a qualified PM maintence tech would maybe know that!!! according to my 2nd opinion AC tech, all newer tightly sealed untis will have some mold, afterall there is moisture in there and cool temps. So Apple NO THANKS for the $1000 in repairs, my NEW AC company visit and wire repair $114.
