Worst in town
So I filled out their long application on-line and it said someone would call to set up an initial interview and they never did. After about a week and a half of waiting I called the mission valley office and spoke to a representative who immediately said that they would call if they had anything for me. Then proceeded to start a interview over the phone. How professional is that! When I told him I wasn't interested because he already basically told me he didn't have anything for me, he started getting very defensive and rude. I mean don't they even want to see me to evaluate my appearance and talk to me in person. I would think that since they are the front line for there clients they would want to get to know me before just sending me somewhere. I don't get it. Very unprofessional.

There are better...
I wish agencies would post real jobs. I think I was tricked to get into this place with an ad that was anonymous, and when I asked for more details they said the job had been filled. Nonetheless I stayed and went through the process, as they told me there were MANY openings for clerical work. I had a pretty bland interview with an OK agent. She seemed a little new in her field. When I started calling to check in, they never remembered me and always had to give my social for them to look me up. I cant believe my agent didnt remember me even though she told me I was qualified and there were tons of jobs out there. I still call every once in a while, and I did get one cool short temp job there. They just feel really impersonal.

Not worth the time - quite typical of agencies
Not worth the time - quite typical of agencies

Granted the staff was kind when you go in to apply, but you are stuck doing the same tests regardless of how many times or how many branches you have applied for a job. What's worse is that is makes NO DIFFERENCE which branch you sign up because they accept jobs from clients ALL OVER THE COUNTY. I've never gotten a call back about any jobs and I've been pretty successful, and am qualified for every admin, HR, staffing job they have. Next time I called they had no clue who I was. If you ever sign up with these companies you may as well expect to waste a week's worth of time signing up at all of them and still end up in the unemployment line.

Not worth it!

P.S. I called and emailed about 3 months after signing up and they said they had no record of me and had to have me come in again. So I did, and then after 3 months of no luck with them, again had to sign up. As an HR person, this is completely unprofessional and an incompetent management style.

Appleone
Appleone is a great agency to find employment; however not all recruiters are helpful in all locations. I found that certain recruiters in certain locations are more helpful with your employment search. I love that they have so many offices everywhere!
