there are many clever and " over the top" marketing ideas in the service business industry --these days the good ole yellow pages are just that..............OLD!! when u make a pricey purchase for anything....u should definitely do your homework!! make decisions based on your experience with a particular company. I believe that Water filtrtation and purification will soon be a necessary step if u want clean,healthy water! Seems to me that Aqua Clear is trying to improve the quality of our drinking water. I think that what they do is very important! Especially considering we are consuming chemically treated water!! ( im just sayin)..

Thank you for your review Missmingylou. These days it can be hard to raise awareness on the topic of water quality. I am happy to see that there are people who understand how important the role quality water plays, not only in our present lives but the dier need to preserve it for the health of our future. After years of water quality research, our findings can be quite disturbing and unfortunately its not getting any better. There are not enough regulations set forth for the amount of contaminants and toxins currently present in our water supplies. Despite any opinions, we take pride in being able to provide our customers with the means to protect their health and future with the clean water we all deserve. The water filtration system is GREAT!! But this company is not concerned about the consumer!!!!!!!! The technician improperly installed my system and caused major water problems in my home, which required repairs. The owner was not concerned and only became defensive when I explained to him what happened. He never called back to follow up neither did he offer any compensation. We were told that the solar panels would lower our gas bill. It did lower the gas bill but it increased the power bill, which is not a savings. The filters, soap, and detergent was supposed to last for a year, but that was a negative too. Changing the filters is not user friendly...be careful or you'll flood your entire house. Find another company that will provide the same service, dealing with this company is not worth the hastle/headache.

Rosetulip, I am sorry to hear that you are not pleased with our services. If you contact us directly we will be able to resolve your issues. Please ask for Christina in our Service Department. As for the solar panels, they are designed to be very econimical. They draw energy from the sun to heat your water. They have nothing to do with your power bill. When the sun heats up the coils inside the panels, the heat is then rediated to your water heater. One day of sun can heat water for 48 hours. Say, you do not have sun for a few days, you would then be using gas to heat the water not electric. As for the the filters, they do last a year or longer(membrane is 5 years) based on your particular system. They come with replacement directions, your suppose to turn off the blue valve underneath your sink before replacing(so that you do not flood) Then its a twist and lock replacement. When it comes time for you to replace them we ask you to call us if you need to be walked through the process. The soaps are a 5 year supply, they are concentrated and you must dilute each bottle with water. I bought a system from Aqua Clear after hearing about the hexavalent chromium in metro atl drinking water. I have had a great experience with this company, I don't understand why there is even bad reviews about them on here. We had our complemetary water test done in our home, which they did right in front of us and explained everything, I couldnt believe what we were drinking! I'm orginally from the north where I'm sorry to say it but the tap water taste much better and after being in the south for over 7 years I have not enjoyed drinking the tap water. The water is also a lot harder down here and you feel it on your skin and hair. I love my system! My skin and hair is so soft! I had a reverse osmosis drinking station installed that came with the whole house system. I absolutely love it!!I'll never buy bottled water again, I bought BPA free bottles and we use them everyday!The system is worth the money, I've already saved by not buying water bottles(which by the way, is not regulated purified water) I did a lot of research on water purification and i'll tell you, this is top of the line! If you feel comfortable paying for cheap filters that really dont purify anything out of your water, thats fine. But I can say that I have piece of mind knowing that my family is drinking the puriest water available. I definitely dont trust our water authorities, we really have no idea to what extent they are cleaning our water. Aqua Clear staff was very imformative and professional! Thanks

I was convinced my water was "terrible" and hesitantly agreed to have this installed when I was told I was getting "an unheard of deal"- 0% interest and no payment for 6 months. I canceled the next morning and returned the cancellation notice within 3 days (otherwise you owe 20%!!). They are still sending me bills on a system that was NEVER installed. I was told to make payments until it was figured out and then I would get reimbursed!! Yea, right!! Puronics says they "aren't allowed" to contact Aqua Clear to verify cancellation - they have to wait for Aqua Clear to call them! Very unethical business practices to say the least. If I get another bill I will be contacting an attorney.

You may contact us again to resolve this issue. When you enter into any contract of sale you must understand that it takes time, effort and cost money. There must have been some sort of misunderstanding for you to have recieved bills if you notified us of cancellation within that 3 day period. Wow. After reading some of the reviews here, i almost cancelled my system. Glad i didn't. It appears that most of the negative reviews are about the company's marketing methods. I actually own the Puronics system and it is great. It performs exactly as demonstrated and the company's personnel were all well trained and professional. Their analyst/representative was very knowledgable and patiently answered any questions we had. I am so glad that our water is now clean. Everything is better- we drink more water now; clothes; coffee; hair; skin; no more chemicals for everything! This is one of the best investments we have made. I've owned the water system for 6 month.

This water purification system is the best thing that my husband and I purchased. My son had skin rashes and after we had this installed his rashes disappeared along with the chlorine smell that was in the water. The staff there is so nice and the installer was very helpful! We would recommend this company to everyone! They are great and their product is even better!

Hey "future101"....want to know why I am so upset? This company lied to get a salesman in my home. They continue to try it on others with LYING phone calls and misleading mail to your home. Why am I upset? When I asked them/you what the maintenance would be on your water system you causally said "Oh, a couple of bags of salt each year". Reality is 15 to 20 bags of salt a year, a $250 filter each year for the drinking water filter and having to replace the "medium" in the big filter every 2 years ( I have no idea what that is going to run me when the time comes). Oh..and you never mentioned to me that I shouldn't drink softened water without it going through a second filter. Thanks for putting me and my family at risk. You recently called my neighbor with your FREE water test and $50 gift card. When he said he would like both but wasn't interested in an expensive water system YOU HUNG UP IN HIS FACE! Why did you do that? It is now my hobby to expose your company for the pack of liars it is. Oh and to all the readers here, if they try to sell you radiant barrier insulation make sure to ask them why $400 of materials is going to cost $5000 to install. By the way....Anyone can join The "Water Quality Association" for as little as $132 for a year. BIG WHOOP! RE: future101 - I stated quite clearly in the text above that I DID ask about the cost of maintenance and was subsequently LIED to. I shouldn't have to make assumptions when being sold a $6k contraption.

I am very sorry to hear how upset you are. If you contact Christina at the Service Department, she will help you with any questions you may have. It is never our intention to mislead or lie to anyone. If the water tech who performed the test and offered you recommedations and was vague about maintenance, we would like to know who it was so that we can resolve this. We can provide you with full maintenance information. The amount of salt used is based upon the amount of water used. The system goes through a regeneration process one to two times a month and creates the salt solution to soften the water. It could be that your system is using more salt becuase there is high water usage. If you call us we can adjust your setting and make sure everything is working the way it should. Im not sure what you mean by drinking the softened water? Your family is not at risk. Your system does not only soften but it also purifies. You do not have filters that need replacing in your large tank. The only filters you would replace are in your Reverse Osmosis drinking station which is located under your sink. Depending on if your have a 3stage or 4stage RO, either 3 or 2 of your filters are manufacturer recommended to be replaced annually. The "red" filter which is the membrane does not have to be replaced for 5 years. If you are drinking water out of the installed tap on your kitchen sink, your family and yourself are drinking the most purified water available. I can provide you with all the accurate information about how Reverse Osmosis works so that you may understand. Our filters have now gone down in price and whenever we have a sale we call each customer so that they may get the best price possible. If you wouldlike a comparison of prices verses a refrigerator filter, and other carbon filters, I would be happy to give that to you. If someone was hung up on, we appologize for that. It is not how we do business here. We are a member of the water quality Association among many other accediated organization. As for the attic insulation comment again I do not know where you are getting your information but we use all top of the line systems. Again we are sorry you are not happy and please address your issues with us here at Aqua Clear Systems.
No, I don't work for Acs. When my wife and I purchased the system, we asked many questions in reference the maintanance part, did you ? When you purchased your refrigirator did you know that you would have to change your filter on it every so many month ? we had the system for 2 years and so far we had no problems with it.

We started receiving yellow cards from this company in the mail stating that they had a package for us. We ignored them but they eventually called the house because "a friend of yours thought you might like our products". We are on the no call list but they didn't care. They finally called and my daughter answered. They actually set up an appointment with a 10 yr old. We luckily found their number on the Caller ID and cancelled. Thanks to Kudzu I was able to see them for what they are and cancel. This was 4 weeks ago. Since cancelling they have called us every day. If I want a water filter, i'll go buy one and it dang sure won't cost $10,000.

When we recieve a referral from an existing customer we follow up. I appologize that we were unaware you we're on a no call list. Our staff is fully trained and knowledgable. Many questions are asked to set an appointment with us here and you must be a homeowner. It would be impossible for us to set an appointment with your child as they would not be able to accuratly answer the required information for an appointment. I am sorry if you were continued to be called and you will not be contacted again. Our systems are not 10,000 dollars. Let me assure you that you get what you pay for and as an advocate for our nations water quality, please do your research as not all systems are created equal.
I got their BBB rating knocked down from C to C-. I'm not done yet. Please contact BBB if you've had issues with them. I'll be collecting statements from neighbors to support my case. Fact is a top of the line home water system shouldn't cost more than about $2500 AT MOST. I was conned into a $6900 system. Check atticfoil.com to see what these companies pay for radiant barrier insulation (less than $500) and then try to charge you literally 10 times that much, or more, to install. Solar hot water heater equipment appears to be antiquated technology. A local news outlet wants to come out and interview me about my experience. I plan on doing just. A coworker of mine recently got one of their yellow "We are trying to deliver a package" cards. They told him he had been chosen for a free water test and $50 gift card. When he said yes to that but said he wasn't interested in a $6900 water system they abruptly rescinded the offer and said goodbye. NICE!

We currently hold an A with the BBB. We strive to resolve any and every issue that may arise. Im not sure where you gather your information but let me assure you that top of the line systems may be expensive. I have not seen a system out there that compares to Puronics. The technology used (also used by NASA) is unlike any other system. Puronics systems are accrediated for being the most efficient and cutting edge. Please check their website so that you may better understand what you purchased. www.puronics.com As for attic foil, we do not and have never used attic foil. Our thermal radiant barriers are thick insulation and block up to 97% heat/ cold in you home. We pride ourselves in carrying the best available product in this field that provide the most benefits. Many can attest that solar energy is very efficient. Many people are very happy and have seen their gas bills decrease. We conduct water quality research throughout georgia. We will provide anyone who is interested with a complimentary water test. Depending on the results we will provide our recommendations but at no time is anyone ever obligated to accept them. You will still recieve your $50.00 dining card for your time.

Basic: Bought a water system and solar panels. Neither work as guaranteed. Water System: Bleeds salt. Now there is a salt taste in our water and we can't use the ice maker because the ice is always covered in salt. Can you say "high blood pressure"? Solar System: Made our gas heating bill go up. AquaClear / Puronics said the gas bill would go down because the solar panels would heat the water and the water would not take as long to heat because it was now pure, with the new water system. After the first month of installation the gas bill increased $100, then and additional $50 the next month. The AquaClear / Puronics representative claimed it was due to the winter months; not true. Our bill didn't increase $100 to $150 last winter. We asked AquaClear / Puronics to remove the solar panels. AquaClear / Puronics said "No, we will never take them back. You will never get refunded for them." So, we are now stuck with a monthly bill for solar panels that don't work. AquaClear / Puronics does not care about you or your situation. Don't believe the pitch. Regardless of how low the payments will be if you change your mind about wanting the product AquaClear / Puronics will say "to bad", and you'll be stuck with the monthly payments. If you financed the product AquaClear / Puronics was paid by the bank, so AquaClear / Puronics has their money and could care less about the customer.

Lady schedules meeting to test water on behalf of the city (Lie #1) and assures you that they are not selling anything (Lie #2). Then they try to sell you a $9K system for $6,400 and you have to buy right then or you can never ever buy it again. What a joke. Salesperson was rude when we said "no" so I kicked him out. When we purchased this system last year we had purchased a new home and then the calls started, well we go the system and ever since then we have been having problems. The ice is still not clear and the water is changing the toilets yellow. They try to get you when they first come by with the water test but I have been drinking regular tap water my whole life. Well when I call to complain they always put Kenneth on the phone and he is so rude and I will be taking this further this company suck and I hate that I got dragged into this I will never reconmend this company to no one I did and I regret it. Do not get this product! and Kenneth from Quality assurance is the worst and assurance explains Kenneth.
