We used Aquarama for pool openings and closing for many years, per a neighbor recommendation. Initially we were very pleased with their service and their techs did a great job. Sadly, we probably won't use Aquarama again after our last job with them, because we are tired of the miscommunications when it comes to scheduling. Although our techs continued to do great jobs, we would schedule a specific date for opening or closing, verify the arrival time (you have to call the morning of to find out the time), take time off work, only to wait and wait (and wait) for no-shows. Then I'd call the office to find out where the crew was only to be told they would have to come another day. This happened quite a lot in the last few years. As other reviewers have noted on various review sites, it's frustrating to rearrange one's work or personal schedule for an appointment, only to be blown off. It's a shame because we really appreciated our technicians, but the lack of scheduling and communication outweighs the positives.

BEWARE! These people are a bunch of liars and cheats. Terrible customer service and rude to boot. We paid them a fortune to have work done on our pool and they acted like we were a nuisance. Communication was none existent. Once they received our money we got the run around from them and then they eventually stopped returning my calls. I have never in my life dealt with a company so rude and pathetic.

I explained over the phone what ended to be done, got a quote and the assurance that the work was one they could handle. The guy that cmd out to do the work assured me that he could. Yet, when he finished, the pool did not look any different after the work, and I was charged more than we had agreed on, and asked to pressure wash the tiles of the pool! (Terrible advice) Terribly disappointed with this company

I made an appointment for AquaramaPoolsandspas to come inspect and fix my pool. They called on the day of my appointment to tell me they were backed up and asked if they could come the next day. I said ok. By 3pm the next day, they had not come, nor called. I called to make sure they were coming and was told they would come later that day. They did not show up, nor did they call. It's been over 5 days and I STILL haven't heard from them. I contacted another company. Don't waste your time waiting for AquaramaPoolsandSpas!!

We called to schedule an appointment due to some issues with our pool. We made the appt. for sometime on Saturday, because they were booked up and couldn't come before then. However, the company then called us on Thursday and said they had had an opening and instead would move us up to Friday. We're thinking wow! That is great. So, we wait on Friday and (you guessed it!) nobody ever shows up - or gives us a courtesy call to say that they aren't coming after all. So, we wait on Saturday. We then receive a call that they are too busy to fit us in on Saturday, but will be out "first thing" Monday morning. Well, it is now Monday afternoon and no one has arrived or called! Stay away from this company! They have no concept what customer service means and only deliver a frustrating experience!!

I moved to Marietta with my husband about a year ago. The house came with a pool and unfortunately, we didn't know the first thing about taking care of one. Luckily, we found Aquarama and they had someone come out to our home to help us better understand what exactly we were getting into. The technician taught us about the equipment, pool chemistry, and the pool itself. Now, we have Aquarama maintain our pool on a weekly basis and they do a great job of keeping it clean & beautiful. We would definitely recommend them for all your pool needs!

Me and my family just moved into the Marietta area and had never owned a pool before. I wanted to get some good information on what is needed to maintain my pool so I called Aquarama and asked if they could go over it with me. The answering service was very courteous, not in a rush to get me off the phone and I was set up for an in store orientation with the company's owner. Karen was extremely helpful answering all of my questions about the equipment used, the chemistry involved, and the best ways to clean my pool. I had my water tested and they explained in detail which chemicals I needed to use. Karen also went over the safety requirements which is very important to me and my wife as we have small children. I left with store with a great deal of information and having met some fantastic people. Overall the experience was extremely helpful and I look forward to working with Aquarama in the future!

I moved into my house 7 years ago with a pool that was totally negelected. Aquarama techs came as scheduled, explained what needed to be done and what it would cost. All work was done with no problems and bill was as expected. They have been taking care of my pool ever since. Very satisfied!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.Our Service Manager contacted you and advised that our tech was 15 minutes late from being at your home.Normally we do not give exact appointment times, it is typically a window of time, due to Atlanta traffic, weather, and events that are out of a companies control. However, we agreed to give you a time. We are sorry that you could not wait the extra time for our tech to arrive at your home. We do not like to disappoint our customers. Like so many other reviews, I had the same thing happen to me. Had an appointment (I waited for them to call me back to confirm when making the appointment a specific date/time) but no one called or showed up. When I called to find out what happened, I was told the person who was supposed to meet me at my home was out on another job and that the company never sets specific appointment times! Don't waste your time. I could also tell by the people I was dealing with on the phone that they have no comprehension of what customer service even is.

I just wanted to say thank you for getting my pool clear just in time for a wedding reception I was having at my home. The technicians were on top of the game and everyone I spoke with in the office seemed great. Will not use anyone but Aquarama!

Aquarama is a great family business that knows their stuff. Benny is always helpful when I go into the store. I have not had any of the problems with scheduling as other reviews.

I made an appointment for leak detection on my pool. They wouldn't specify a time range, but said that the technician would call when he was on his way. I waited around all day and when I hadn't heard anything by 5:00 I called in. They said that the tech was running behind and asked if he could come the following day. I reluctantly agreed. 5:00 on the following day and no call from the tech. I had to call in again. The tech was running behind again and they had the audacity to ask if he could come the following day.

should have learned my lesson with them last year when they no showed, but the technicians (when they show) are knowledgeable. They burned me again this year. For a family business, you would think that they would take more pride in providing decent service, but it's quite obvious they don't care. Too many employees are young and just don't give a darn about their customers. The owners need to scrap their entire scheduling department and replace them with some older workers who know honesty and integrity.
