Started-up system after 1 yr. shut-down. Gerardo, technician, arrived on time and checked everything locating leaking and broken spray heads, finding and repairing broken underground pipe. Have not seen bill yet, so can't fully assess value, but I am happy with work.

I cannot say enough BAD things about this company! They opened my irrigation system this spring by checking all the valves for leaks, and setting the system. Then within 2 weeks of their initial visit, one of the valves sprung a leak, necessitating the shut-down of the system - after which the valve continued to leak. They told me it would take 2 weeks to get someone out. I pointed out that my newly planted gardens could not go 2 weeks without water and after begging, they said they would send someone within 2 days. As we would be out of town I left the garage open so he could access the system. We returned home a week later to find our flowers dying but the leak was gone. The tech never turned the system back on and did not leave any paperwork stating what he had done. However, their bill was in the mail, they charged $193 in labor to replace 1 easy to find leaking valve, plus the cost of the valve and a service charge. When I called to complain the office person was quite rude, argued with me, and found every excuse in the book to defend the over-priced tech who left my flowers to die.

Very bad experience with Aquatron. Jimmy came out to repair our irrigation system, but after 3 trips and 3 seperate bills totalling over $2000 the system was not repaired properly. They overcharged by inflating the hours, even though Jimmy spend a lot of time smoking cigars sitting under a tree. Dena (his daughter and office manager) is extremely rude and has very bad customer service.

They ran up a very large bill by spending a lot of time to find and fix a simple problem. The problem was dirt in the system and the simple fix would have bee to check that first and all it would have taken was a simple cleaning of the filters. In stead they did many more expensive and time consuming things first, and only after none of them fixed the problem I asked them if they checked the filters. The said "no". when they did they found the problem and then cleaned them and the system worked fine, '$1100 later I had a working system. Then just recently I found that in the process of doing various things one of the things they did is they cut the filter off in the lake that feeds the pump that waters the lawn. The filter that was in the lake was located about 50 feet out into the lake. When they cut it out, they replaced it with a much inferior filter and put it into the lake about 6 feet where the water is very shallow. During this drought the lake water level dropped and the pump lost prime because the level of the lake was now below the foot valve filter. Luckily I noticed and turned the system off before the pump burned up! I called them and asked them to come back and fix it back to the way it was suppose to be. They refused. I had another company come and do it and it cost me an additional $200 to fix their shoddy work! Beware, they are slow and can run up a big bill before you even know it.

I set up an appointment with Aquatron for repair service. They gave a two hour window a week after my call. I dutifully waited. No call. No truck. No service. When I called the telephone representative apologized and said she hoped someone would be at my house within an hour, but she could not guarantee it. No thanks.

We had Aquatron come to our home to make some repairs to our sprinkler system. At $90 per hour, a prudent person would assume they knew what they were doing. Evidently not, as the system leaked after they were complete with the work. So they attempted to make the repairs a second time; again, the system leaked when they were done. We found another contractor to complete the work properly. Aquatron sent us a bill for their second round of 'repairs' even though they never fixed it in either two attempt! Even if they did perform good work, I would avoid them based upon their shady business/billing practices.

I used Aquatron because the builder recommended them. They installed the system in winter and did not test it. I needed the system adjusted but was not told there is a charge even if it is under warranty. The Office manager is incompetent and too busy to deal with issues and don't expect them to call you back to resolve issues. Also they are far far too expensive on their service calls and over charge for actual work time. If a builder recommends them, I'd think twice before using them.

Initially, I found Aquatron's installation of our sprinkler system very good. The staff was professional and the job was done on time. I later realized that the post installation service billing is absolutely unacceptable. My first issue with the service was the honoring of the warranty. The service bill was finally reduced to the proper amount after removing items that were covered by the two year warranty. The second issue came from a leaky sprinkler. The work was not properly done and the sprinkler system still continued to leak. I called the business and after some scheduling issues we finally had Aquatron come out again. The issue was resolved...BUT!...I received a bill which charged for both calls! In essence, I paid twice for the same leak. Thinking this was a mistake, I called Aquatron. Thier reason was that the time between the two repairs was too long. However, due to scheduling issues between both Aquatron and I the work could not be done until a month and a half later. I would recommend the installation. I would suggest finding someone else to support the sprinkler system.
