We contracted with Dan and Archway to do a kitchen remodel of our very old and dated kitchen. We had new hardwood floors, granite countertop, cabinets, backsplash, and lighting installed. In addition, Archway removed a wall between the dining area and kithen and substituted a pennisula in it's place. We are very pleased with the kitchen and have to compliment the attention to detail put forth by Robert (lead craftsman). Our only nit in the whole kitchen remodel was a mis-communication that took place between the cabinet company and ourselves. I would have no reservation in recommending Archway to anyone considering a kitchen remodel.

1978 bathroom remodel. Hits: lead remodeler Jeff - superb job w prep for all items - pleased w his plumbing and electrical work incl fixture install. He was wonderful to work with. Tile work beautiful. Archway accommodated our pets very well during construction. Misses: custom shower door rattles when opening and closing. We had fully functioning audio system speaker and volume control in bath prior to construction; after remodel, the control didn't work - it was miswired; I had to rewire it myself. Dan wanted to replace it entirely - not needed. Vessel sink installed too far from Euro style waterfall faucet, causing water to flow down back of vessel sink onto the countertop at low water volume. Dan's solution was to simply make the sink drain hole bigger to move the sink closer to faucet. We felt this was not a professional way to remedy an obvious mistake. We asked that the remnant granite countertop be replaced and the holes for the sink and faucet be measured and drilled properly. He disagreed. Finally, the new entry door does not align with the jamb. We won't choose Archway for future remodels.

Complete Townhouse Kitchen job by Archway. Great job, Dan was on the point with suggestions on how to improve layout and design. More so than others interviewed. Job came in on-time and on budget (except for the changes I kept adding) Archway vendors are the best, Julie at Founders Cabinets was so very helpful with a great cabinet design. A&R Stone Great Counter top! And the sink is the biggest hit! Finally-- Robert Dan Mike Julie Romano Tom Thanks Mike Irvin

I decided to update my kitchen in phases. Phase 1 was to remove a curbed peninsula containing a sink and dishwasher and then add them to a new straight half wall in order to open up the space. The 2nd part was to add granite countertops. I chose Archway because I wanted the remodel to match the existing cabinets. They did the following: removed the old countertops, dismantled the peninsula, reworked plumbing and electrical outlets, built a half wall, reused the box for the sink, built DW opening, created a detail template for granite countertops and then installed with a SS under mount sink & a SS faucet, reinstalled the DW & garbage disposal and painted. The workers were cordial & conscientious. Their craftsmanship was refreshingly on point. The outcome? Beautiful. Yes, I would use them again.

Dan and the team at Archway Construction are truly top-notch and take pride in getting the job done right. My wife and I had a renovation project that was out for bid with another contractor that was taking way too long to give us a quote (6 weeks from initial contact). Feeling frustrated we contacted Archway and went under contract well before the other contractor gave us a bid. Once the work started, Dan and the team were great about keeping us updated and explaining things along the way. My wife and I are doing a lot of renovations ourselves and Dan was happy to answer questions about those items as well. We will definitely be using Archway again in the near future. If you have a need for an excellent contractor, choose Archway.

In each phase of remodeling of our kitchen the person doing the work was both professional, helpful and excellent at what they were responsible for. Robert, the overall person responsible for electrical, plumming, etc. was extremely helpful whenever a question was asked and did an extremely good job at each task. Each phase, reconstruction, cabinets, tile and granite counter tops was handled by persons with knowledge about their speciality and were very helpful with suggestions. We would recommend Archway Construction to anyone and would call on them again if needed.

Dan and his crew took care of our full kitchen renovation including removing a load bearing wall and we couldn't be happier with the end result. Professional from start to finish. Major props to Steve, Robert, Jeff, and the whole crew!

Hired Dan to remodel bathroom in four year old condo. His quote was very competitive, work was impeccable and they made what is normally an unpleasant process, quick and easy. I would strongly recommend them in the future for their skill, professionalism and speed.

I had a sudden problem with rafters in my garage/basement which began to effect my floors. It needed to be fixed quickly. Dan came out and not only gave me a good estimate but also assisted me in finding a good structural engineer at a reasonable cost. As soon as we signed the contract Dan and his crew were there. They finished in a few days. Everyone was courteous, they kept the job site clean, even took pictures for me! I am glad I made the decision to use Archway Construction Services. Not only do they do a great job they also know what great customer service is. They treat their customers right.

We called Archway a couple of weeks ago to fix a problem with our chimney that had caused problems in one of our upstairs rooms (which would require them to tear out the old dry-wall and replace it as well as fixing some problem siding). Dan came out the next day to do the estimate and told us he would email us within a few days. We ok-ed the estimate and they wrote up a contract. Just two weeks after Dan came out, the workers were here and fixed the problem in two days (they finished yesterday). The work was great and they even found a small problem on our roof that they fixed for a small additional cost. We will definitely use Archway again!

I hired Archway for major remodeling on my 1st floor. ($200K+) They gutted and installed a new kitchen, turned a sunroom into a maple judges-paneled office, refinished and installed hardwood floors, gutted and remodeled the laundry room, painted and/or faux finished everywhere, replaced a number of windows, installed new floors and some cabinets in the master bath, etc. They far exceeded my expectations. First, they gave me the most detailed bid I'd ever received from any general contractor. Then, they were able to meet a 3 month deadline to get 90% of the work done, as we had 10 people coming to stay for Christmas. The Project Manager, Jeff, was outstanding. Showed up every day like clockwork and supervised all the subs. Although, the subs were excellent, as well. They cleaned up every day even though it really wasn't necessary because we were living in the basement. One of the great things about Archway is that they do not require you to use their suppliers, as do many general contractors. This was critical, as I'd already selected many of the materials from different vendors. However, since Archway also owns A&R Stone, they were able to find an exotic granite I wanted at a much reduced price. The best measurement of a general contractor is to answer the question, "Would you use them again?" The answer is a resounding ABSOLUTELY!

Archway recently redid my master bathroom and I am very happy with the results. They were very professional. When Daniel came to give me an estimate, he gave me copies of his license and insurance and a list of references. The price was reasonable, they finished on time, and all of the people involved were great to work with. After the demolition was finished, Robert did most of the work and he did an excellent job. Rick, the project manager checked with me often to make sure I was happy with the progress. They also returned my phone calls promptly. I would definitely use them again.
