We are a full service veterinary hospital located in Chandler, AZ.
Whether you are new to us, new to the area, or new to pet ownership, our goal is to provide outstanding veterinary care for you and your pet. Our recently remodeled facility is equipped with state of the art digital x-rays, ultrasound, fiberoptic endoscopy, EKG machine, in-house laboratory and surgical suite.
Our hospital also provides full service boarding and grooming services.
I was completely impressed with Arizona Avenue Animal Clinic. I freely admit that I am somewhat of a vet-snob. I frequently read online reviews, did research at www.vetboard.az.gov, and got referrals from other pet lovers. Nothing is too good for our fur-babies, but value for the money spent is also important. This is an established practice, and though not a shiny new facility, it is clean and modern. (We previously used a vet in a brand new office, and the receptionist told us their prices were so high because they had to pay for the building. Glad we could help.) The prices at Arizona Avenue Animal Clinic are reasonable and fair. Better yet, the service is top notch. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, from the people at the front desk, to the doctors and techs. Andy is rock star! Dr. Kristi was very compassionate and caring, and took plenty of time explain the treatment and explain our choices. She did not pressure us into the highest priced option for our 15-year old cat's dental work; she allowed us to choose the plan that best fit our budget. In fact, when researching dental work for cats, I found Arizona Ave. Animal Clinic to have very competitive pricing compared to other area vets. Do not misunderstand -- dental work is VERY expensive -- but I believe it ultimately saved our cat's life.

Just brought my new pit to this clinic for yearly shots and heartworm testing cause one of my friend's wives recommended it. Pretty cheap prices for a legitimate vet hospital. $43 office call, $8 dollar vaccines, even the rabies shot. Staff was real friendly. The two guys they had working as receptionists were pretty sharp. This hospital also has grooming and boarding, and they explained the policies and routines pretty thoroughly. Me and "Bubba" saw a vet by the name of Dr. Kristi. She spent over thirty minutes in the room with me answering questions and advising me on things i should be doing to prevent stuff that can be bad for him later. (Like brushing his teeth, which with him is kind of a struggle ha ha ). Not pushy at all, pretty much just reminded me to get him fixed and went over an estimate with me, which seemed pretty reasonable. Overall I'm very satisfied with this practice. Real nice people, pretty cheap vaccines and yearly heartworm testing (when compared to the other quality vet hospitals in Chandler). Got "bubba" scheduled for his fixing, and will most likely stick with these guys for a while.

I had recently took two of my dogs to get fixed at Arizona Avenue Animal Clinic. I used my Maricopa County Big Fix Voucher for both animals. Az Ave Animal Clinic is one of the only animal clinics in Chandler that accept the voucher. The surgery was completely free and I was still able to see a Dr. before the procedure. She was very caring and up front about what was best for my two puppies, and was very straight forward about all the financial costs. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and even called to check on both my labs the day after surgery. I highly recommend this clinic. I definitely intend to return, and make Dr. Kristi my permanent vet.

I had to change vets recently due to the last one never getting results with a chronic paw infection my pitbull has. I picked this 1 out of convenience to be honest, I drive by it on my way home almost everyday. They got me an appt scheduled within 24 hours of my 1st phone call. When I met the doctor she was very attentive of his specific needs and very informative on my many options! She assured me it was more than ok to call with questions and that we can get alot done through communication over the phone! My pit liked her and what really topped it off was when I was paying the doctor came out to greet another patient and they were friendly enough to exchange a brief hug and then the doc got right on the floor with the dog... kinda funny but very dedicated at the same time. Oh and by the way the fee I paid was very minimal, the least I have ever paid at a vet!

I recently took my dog Dixie to Arizona ave. Animal Clinic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was especially impressed with the doctors that cared for Dixie. I work as an M.D. and they taught me a thing or two about Orthopedic surgery. I was very happy with my experience there and would highly recommend them.

All four of my pets go to AZ Avenue Animal Clinic. My cat Bo has some health issues and the docs and techs are always very gentle with him when we're in (fairly regularly). The cost is a bit higher than other vets I've been to, but I feel that the quality is worth it.

I just recently got a new cat and I went to Arizona Ave Animal Clinic. The whole staff was kind and Dr. Steve was gentle and knowlegable and answered my questions readily. Joanne the groomer was exceptional; she gave my cat great care and was very, very friendly. I will come here for years.

The vets here are good, but you see whomever is available at the time. They don't try to get you used to one vet in particular which is okay, but sometimes you want to deal with the same person. They vary from vet to vet about explaining what is wrong with your pet. Some do an excellent, thorough job while others are good, but not great. They are all awesome with the pets and most of the techs are as well. The front desk seems a little unorganized, but they are all nice. I will continue to use them as my vet.

The staff at AZ Ave Animal Clinic is great. They gave only the best to care to our dog who was getting up there in age. They did everything they could to ensure quality of life for her.
