My wife dropped off 13 shirts two weeks ago. She received a claim slip for 13 shirts. When I picked them up, the clerk retrieved them from somewhere in the back (not the usual moving hangers system) but instead of leaving a copy of the claim receipt attached to the bundle, she ripped it up and threw it away - which was the first time that has EVER happened. I usually count the shirts to ensure none are missing. But since I didn't have the original claim slip, I could not verify how many there should have been. My fault but I did not ask why the clerk delibertly discarded the slip and I did not ask her to retrieve it from the trash. But when I arrived home, I found the original claim slip (which said 13) but to my surprise, there were only 12 shirts. I am sure the clerk knew one was missing because she had to go in the back to retrieve the bundle from an unusual area and that she intentionally made sure I couldn't review the slip. I thought I could trust this cleaners but it is now apparent that I cannot. I am looking for a new cleaners that is both convienient and trustworthy. Though the cleaners is a little pricy, the quality of cleaning (as noted above) has been about average (nothing outstanding) since I have been patronizing the store (about 6 years).
