Art Stone installed my kitchen granite last week. Iím very pleased with the service, measurements, and the install from Art Stone. The granite fit like a glove (thanks to TJ for his measurements... and the guy who cut the granite). The install guys come in and installed the granite with precision. I worked with Malinda. What I liked about Malinda was that she never placed any pressure on me or rushed my decision-making process. Iím the type of person who has to study, worry, look and look (no matter what the product is) to ensure I am making the right choice for me, i.e., I have a difficult time making a final decision. She was very patient, which I appreciated. Once I made my decision and was ready to move, she had the granite cut and installed within a few days. I truly believe she wanted to make me happy. They are very busy at Art Stone and not always prompt with responding to emails and phone calls. Donít let that deter you, just call them back. All and all, I was very pleased with the entire process from the beginning to the end.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Recently had them install granite for my bathroom counter top. I did have some problems with the install, but I was able to work out an amicable resolution with the owner and sales rep. Satisfied customer.
I walked in on a Friday, and was surprised to see just how busy they were -- always a good sign of how a business is doing. In the process of waiting my turn, a number of people asked if I had been assisted yet. Again it was a pleasant surprise. Customer service isn't something you get in most places these days. I walked around their facility and really got a different feel compared to how I felt at other granite shops. The selection was great, everyone was friendly, and they took the time to teach me about the differences in quality for all the choices of fabricator out there. I'd completed a project in my home before and didn't pay much attention to the adage ""you get what you pay for"" -- I went with the lowest bidder. That was my first mistake!! After working with Art Stone for a few days, making multiple trips back to make my final selection, I was sold. The professionalism, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable staff set them apart from the other ""competitors"". I just had a level of comfort and trust with them that I hadn't felt with the other companies. From the beginning of my project I was kept informed and treated like I matter. All the way through the end I couldn't have been more pleased. My kitchen looks extremely beautiful !
Initially we had some problems, but the owner just called after 2 months of frustrations, so we are now waiting to see what happens. I will update my review when the job is finished.
I had a wonder experience with Art Stone and specially with Jennifer whom I consider my personal design consultant. She helped me take my kitchen and bathrooms to another level. Jennifer helped me pick out a beautiful backsplash for my kitchen. She truly has a good eye for designs. We convert my old brick fireplace to a new beautiful marble fireplace. Jennifer along with Wellington helped me pick the right colors for my granite countertops/fireplace. I checked several companies before finding Art Stone and I am so pleased that I found them. When first walked into their office I felt at home with all of them. I woud have never been able to afford the high quality and beautiful stones without them. If you walk into my home it looks like something from a magazine. The installer Dilson was a joy to work with, he war very miticulous and his work is excellent! I would truly recommend them to one and all. Thank you Art Stone!
Art Stone G&M installed granite countertops at a rental house of mine. The countertops look great! They provided lowest quote, worked within a tricky schedule I had to work out with tenants of home, were always on time and communicative. Would certainly recommend them to others and use them in future.
I recently had a horrible experience with Artstone. Everything was fine until I ordered and paid for my countertop. After that, everything went downhill. First, the sink was cut backwards- the template was NOT followed. Second, the sink hole was not centered, so the countertop is half inch longer on one side. Finally, I asked for hard corners and instead got radius (rounded) corners. I should have checked the better business bureau first. Artstone, as of the date of this posting (8/23/2013) has an F rating. The manager/owner, Wellington refused to give me a credit for all of Artstone's mistakes. All I asked for was a return of the fabrication & installation charges. He simply said everything is fine and did not care. Horrible service.
An awesome experience. The quality, service, patience, value, and work ethic is something you don't find anymore. They worked quickly, arrived when they said they would, and were absolutely a pleasure to deal with. Top notch company - HIGHLY recommend!
We were in the market for new granite for our master bathroom. We read the reviews and were very excited to use a local company, Art Stone and Jennifer for our project. Everything went smoothly UNTIL the install. It was HORRIBLE - the installer went ahead and installed an incorrectly cut backsplash, they never called back when they said they would. When they came back again to replace the backsplash the installer was 4 hours late and the 2nd one was wrong yet AGAIN. Finally they got it right after the 3rd time which required the owner to come to the house - who was 1 hour late AGAIN NOT CALLING and not apologetic for being late!!! They left without polishing the countertop and we had to reinstall one of the mirrors that the 1st installer removed, which was unnecessary. THEN they never offered a discount for any of our inconvenience and just went ahead and charged us the balance AFTER Jennifer said she would speak with the owner and call us back - NO CALL BACK. We were soooo dissapointed and anyone who has asked who did the work, we have told them and also told them about our poor service! They made what was supposed to be an exciting upgrade to our home, MISERABLE!!!
Dear Sir, We do apologize for the level of service that you received. This is a poor reflection on Art Stone and not at all renditions of our good workmanship and character that our other satisfied customers could testify to receiving.I am so sorry that a discount was not offered to you and that you felt so poorly treated.I do believe however that the area in question did present some difficulties and our best was given to rectify this matter to your satisfaction.b .I can understand that this is frustrating. Please call the office and ask for Mr Wellington Goulart and this will be rectified. Wishing you all the best .
My wife and I started the long arduous journey of kitchen and bath renovation for our Downtown apartment. We went everywhere. Not one of them could answer all of our questions; it seemed that each one had one or two things that we liked, but not everything. Art Stone Granite & Marble was the only showroom that answered all of our questions, and we could do everything there. First of all their showroom is pretty amazing. They have kitchen cabinets in the style that we wanted, and a great countertop selection and we did our whole bathroom too.We highly recommend. Art Stone even recommended a certified plumber and scheduled the appointment, even told us where to shop for our faucet. Kudos ArtStone
We used Art Stone Granite & Marble to install Counter tops in our one new home. The staff there was awesome they answered all questions that we had .And the installation went very well, which was done in our absence. The Granite they used was high quality stone. We would highly recommend Art Stone
Glowing reviews, disappointing reality. After they came out to measure our kitchen - two separate times - they picked up the granite we had on hand - only to call back and say they could not cut it to fit properly. After we requested return of our granite, the rep (Malinda) informed us there would be a "delivery charge" to get our property back. No call back on repeated calls, voice mails, and emails, on the amount of the delivery charge -- or on how we might come up with an alternative arrangement for installation. Our view is that they have taken our granite and are now likely just selling it as remnants. If you are dealing with Art Stone, better keep your hand on your pocket book.
We were pressed to do a complete new kitchen... cabinets, refinish floors, granite, pick faucets, appliances in a crush between purchase/sale and move. Spoke to the"cheap $/SF guys", went to the Gwinnett supplier they all used and had limited choices or inventory. Searched and found Art Stone... 9000 installs, walked in 30 minutes later. Jennifer showed us 4 of the very best granites for our use.. in their stock, and we signed on the spot. She was infinitely helpful in not only the granite but advice os the rest of the design. She sets aside 3 slabs of your choice with a deposit. Called back when the cab. guy was done and whammo... perfection installed in a week. Most fabulous granite and perfect gem crown for our terrific new kitchen!!! Beau Simon, Nature Craft cabs Marietta built custom for 30% less than low end Home Depot. Terriffic team.
The title speaks for it's self, i went in there for a kitchen, they helped me in choosing the color, style, and after taking quotes by two other stores in the same area "their price was the best"
I remodeled my kitchen and purchased granite from Artstone Granite in December 2012. The process of selection and ordering went smoothly, however the rest of the process was unfortunate. The day of installation I notified Artstone that they created a large gaping hole in my wall by the backsplash. Artstone did not address the issue in a timely manner and never fixed the hole. After waiting for over a month, I had another contractor repair the wall. In addition to the wall damage, Artstone also left exposed wires in a backsplash area where electrical outlets were located. I notified them of the exposed wires as well. Artstone stated that it was not their responsibility to repair it. So I hired an licensed electrician to repair it and he explained to me that Artstone's poor workmanship and ill-sized cuts caused me to have an issue that is not standard. I called the owner, Wellington with this information and he has simply refused to return my phone call. CAUTION: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Artstone Granite & Marble. Mistakes happen and can be fixed, however it is a bad business practice to ignore your customers and refuse to address their issues.
Art Stone Granite & Tile did an excellent job with our entire countertop replacement process. In particular, Jennifer Gordinho is a wonderful professional who provided excellent customer service from the beginning of the process through and after installation. The template maker and the installers were real pros. Art Stone should be high on your list if you intend to have any granite or marble work completed. Jennifer, your are the best!!!!
Thank you for allowing Art Stone to create a beautiful space for you. We appreciate you and hope that you enjoy your new kitchen . Keep Rrrrocking. Jennifer
