Poor Bi-Annual Recitals, many cancelled classes., 7/16/2007

Avoid this one if you can - Art of Dance has frequent "scheduled" cancellations of classes that must be made up at the parents inconvenience. If they cancel a class, it is on the parents to make it... up on a different day. The two annual recitals were more like a cattle call of parents, including the last recital which features $20/ea admission and no camcorders or cameras. Not sure about you, but dance recitals were the main reason why I bought our camcorder. It's no reason why attendence is down dramatically after recitals. We were committed to the recital, but now we're washing our hands. The quality of the lessons seemed to be very good, and that is really what matters - but just prepare for a little frustration.
