Artep responded to my immediate need for our backyard cleanup and mulching before the holiday weekend. They were on time, did good work and offered additional tips for improving our living space. I appreciate the great job they did on such short notice.

I saw Artep signage at a commercial site in Duluth and decided to use them for sod and irrigation installation. After 2 calls to the company, I received prompt estimate, good price, clear warranty and watering information for newly installed sod. The irrigation work was completed on time then sod was delivered and installed and the after work cleanup was a well done job by the work by crew.

Artep started some work last October and never finished it. Since January we've tried contacting her about when she was coming back and she would reply via email acknowledging the work isn't finished but not telling us when the work will be done.
She built a retaining wall and hasn't finished it the last few tasks,she installed a stone walkway and hasn't sealed it. She added sod along the walkway which isn't same grass but disagrees and she claims it's because we haven't fertilized it. (I could be wrong, but when the new sod goes dormant over the winter and the rest of your yard is green, doesn't that tell you the sod is DIFFERENT?)If the customer isn't satisfied, a good company would at least meet with the customer to talk about it-it wasn't a lot of material to begin with. She won't meet with us, we only get email responses. All we wanted was for her to finish the work, all we get are emails acknowledgements of what work is still "pending", but no completion date and asking for money for additional work. Now she's voiding her warranty because we're unhappy with her. I get the feeling she didn't want to bother with our "little" job anymore since she had other more profitable projects to focus on which I'm SURE she's paid attention to. If you use this company, the last mile to completion may not get done! And don't upset her or her work won't be under warranty anymore!

Ms. Petra Simpson, owner of Artep, has excelled in losing my business and referral $$. It will be 9 months this June when she started a 5-7 day project -hardscape and planting. After many attempts, the job remains incomplete and we are now stuck with shoddy work that will require additional $s to fix. She makes big promises like a 2 yr warranty to win the deal, but obviously has no sincere intent to keep any of her commitments. We selected Petra after receiving several bids in the spirit of promoting a young entreprenuer who appeared knowledgeable. Clearly a big mistake. Artep was hired for maintenance and as of today I'm pleased with the quality service I receive. Their days varies due to weather but quality, price and customer service is exceptional.
