Best thing I ever did - gave me a new lease on life - thought I had two left feet and no rhythm, but the endless patience and skill of the trainers proved that I could be taught to dance! It doesn't take that long to get to be a basic dancer, but I want to be good now that I know I can do it! These are the people I want to get me there

NOT RECOMMENDEDWe went to Arthur Murray with one goal: to learn one ballroom dance for our wedding. We paid $900 for 5 group lessons, 5 "practice sessions", and 5 private lessons.Group lessons: They try to teach you every dance under the sun, making it very confusing and impossible to remember what steps belong to what type of dance. They don't let you target which dances you want to learn.Practice sessions: The practice sessions are useless if you are just starting out and don't know any steps. There is no instruction/assistance involved.Private lessons: Pretty good. Except they ended our 2nd lesson 15 minutes early to show off more dance steps. "These are the steps you will be able to do if you sign up for the next package!" They were asking for another $1500 before we were halfway through our first set of lessons!We never finished our package with them - wasted $900. Every time we finished something, they kept pushing us to buy another package. We expressed our dissatisfaction in a nice, reasonable way, and they were very unwilling to work with us.
