We purchased a 2002 Honda Civic from Assurance Auto Brokers in the summer of 2012. It took several months for them to get the valid title and tag documentation completed so that we could legitimately complete the sale. This was well beyond the time required for licensed auto brokers in Georgia to do that, though we did not report them to the Secretary of State's office. We got excuse after excuse for the delays, yet we paid for all the insurance, maintenance, etc., for the car during this time in limbo. In addition, they agreed to have a tiny windshield crack professionally repaired just before we took delivery of the car. They said the repair was completed as promised, but the crack began expanding again. I asked them for the name of the company that had supposedly repaired the windshield, but they refused to tell me who it was. So now we need to replace the whole windshield of this car, to the tune of $200+.
