Simply wanted them to replace some hardware and just wanted an estimate. I tried for 3 days just to get them to call me back, which should have been my first clue into their customer non-service. I finally talked to the lady in the office and she basically wanted me to write them a blank check. They were not willing to look at my problem and tell me what it might cost (I didn't even ask for a hard quote). She said they don't do estimates, you have to hire them at their hourly rate and when they finish they will send you the bill. Why would I ever hire a company without a least some estimate of how long it will take and how much it MIGHT cost me? Implies to me that they are just focused on the emergency situations where people don't have a choice and are willing to pay whatever necessary to fix the immediate problem. Fortunately I'm not in that situation. They may do great work, but I'd recommend steering clear of them for fear you will get "taken". They really need to rethink their business model!
