Not much of a bar person, so I can't review that, but I experienced a most wonderful, special, custom meal complete with wine pairings for each course at the Smyrna location. Chef Sara was very friendly, enthusiastic and made excellent choices for the wines to go with each course. This was, for me, a VERY expensive meal, but I don't regret one penny as I learned that the flavors within a wine are really different depending on the food you eat with that wine and the taste experience can be taken to another level with the right wine & food. Chef & staff made us feel very special and as I haven't eaten at any "5 star" restaurants I can't say if the prices were excessive or not. (When your idea of a "special" meal is Red Lobster, this was pretty pricey, but their menu items were reasonably priced and what I saw brought out to other diners looked yummy). I just know I am thrilled I experienced this special dining experience and plan to go back and work my way thru all the menu items at Atkins Park so I don't miss any more fabulous food experiences here. Their atmosphere is friendly and cordial, and I like the separation of dining from tavern. The food was wonderful, with a good variety of flavors & textures, prepared & served by folks who obviously love what they do.

I don't know about the address on this one (Smyrna), but the Atkins in the Highlands is great. And if you don't like it, there's plenty of other places to go right down the street. Seperate rooms for the bar side and the dining side, though the bar side has boothes, too. Darts, and a couple of arcade games in the back. They have a really cool patio set up between Atkins and the next building over (formerly an alley). Good crowd of mixed age. Probably one of the better places for bar food.
