Continually impresses me with their service.

Was at home this time (of the 3 times I have used this company) and was able to watch as they cleaned the gutters. Very impressive. Received a $30 discount in mail for this service. Called day prior to confirm, gave time of 11am-2pm. Casey called at 12:30 and said they would be there in 15 min. Cleaned gutters, blew debris off of lawn and deck, and were finished in about 25 min. I highly recommend this company. Kudos to the owners for hiring quality people like Casey and his partner.

Great job

They called ahead, came on time, and did a great job. Very professional, explained everything that they were going to do, and said goodbye when they were done. I especially like that they didn't try to sell us extra services. I think that's the first time that's happened!

Friendly and Thorough

After checking out many gutter companies Atlanta's Best had competitive rates, friendly staff, and service was great. I had my gutters cleaned and when I arrived home, I could hardly even tell they were there because they cleaned up all the debris. I would recommend them to anyone who needs gutter service. They have high ratings on other review sites as well.

Great service, but concerned about the upsell

Scheduling an appointment went smoothly. The company called to confirm and arrived during the window promised. The service itself was excellent. They even cleared off my sidewalk and driveway. Everything was left clean.

When the service was done, the tech told me about a cracked vent boot and warned me of the danger of water leaking into my house. He told me that he could give me a discounted price ($100) if I had him replace it while he was here. I agreed, and he was back in 5 minutes with the cracked unit and a photo of the replacement. What concerned me was the fact that the crack he identified was only about 3/8" long, which was a lot less severe than he had represented it. If I had known that the issue was so minor, I would most likely have waited on the repair, so the experience left me feeling somewhat taken advantage of.

Other than that I feel that the service level was above and beyond my expectations.

Thank you for the compliment, and I'm sorry you had concerns about the upsell. I think the issue here, as I read the review, isn't necessarily about this specific repair, but and overall clash in how you see repairs and how we see them. Personally, my home is my most valued investment and asset, and when anything is in ill repair, I take care of it immediately. For many of our customers, there is no such thing as a less severe leak. A leak is a leak. When a dentist says you have a mild cavity, it is a cavity none the less. You can get it filled, or wait. Waiting leads to a bigger cavity, or possible root canal. Similarly, once a boot cracks, give or take a year for it to go wide open. The damage comes from the weather, which no one has control over. You could have waited a year, but the speed to which the crack expands depends on how much the weather changes (every time your roof goes below and above 32%, the crack freeze and thaws, causing it to spread). if you wait a year and it doesn't rain, you're fine. If it rains, you're. We recommend repairs to save you money. If our goal was making money, we would let the crack stay and obtain substation water damage (the last repair we did related to a cracked boot that wasn't replaced was $1400 in wood and shingle replacement). The other thing to think about is that you have multiple boots. A company of less ethics would push and say to change them all, since they'll all need it at some point (and they will). We just recommend the minimum. There is no proper repair for a boot but replacement, no seal that will keep the crack from spreading without causing leaks. Even if you did wait a year, and it didn't rain, the only option still would be replacement. The average pro roofing company charges a minimum trip charge between $200-$300 to come out and do anything (we can provide a list of fully-insured roofers you can call and verify this with). The price we charged was discounted and competitively priced, it was needed, and whether it was done now or 10 years from now, replacing is the only fix. To purposely leave a cracked boot on your roof is gambling with your home against mother nature, a force we can't control or predict. The bottom line is a simple difference in philosophy. You feel, given the crack you saw, that you would have waited for the repair. When we see a repair issue that will lead to more damage to your home, we recommend the repair. When a doctor tells someone they have a gluten allergy, and the person asks if they can just eat a little bread, the doctor can't concede with the gamble. The doctor has to say, no, and tell the patient the hard, direct trust. Ethically, we can't even tell you that you could go another year because it would be us, a service company, gambling with your home. To do so would be counted in the highest of unethical behavior. Great communication and work

Used the Kudzu deal to have them clean the gutters on our house whuch has some steep pitches so I thought the proice was really good. Easily booked online and they quickly confirmed date and time to come out. Showed up on time, professional and cleaned out the gutters and removed the debris.

Asked Brian for a quote on gutter covers and they came in pretty competitive so I used them for that too. They came back the next week, installed the covers and resecured some loose gutters with 7" screws to insure they were mounted securely to the house. I would definitely recommend them and plan to call them back to clean the gutters which, now thanks to the covers, won't need it for awhile.
