After spending about 4 years and lots of money going to various doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, etc., I went to Rich Nyberg at Atlanta Back Clinic. Rich was the only person who looked at my entire body to diagnose what was wrong with me. I was assigned to Audrey Jones for my therapy. I've gone to her for several years now. She moved away for a couple of years. i tried many therapists while she was gone and it was a nightmare. None of them were able to help me with my chronic pain issues. The majority of them seemed frustrated with me that I wasn't improving since the things they were doing with me worked with other people. Audrey has done a great job with individualizing my therapy since some of my issues are fairly unique. ABC is also very good with giving their patients an ample amount of time for their sessions. The other clinics I went to seemed to practice "assembly line therapy." The therapist would be treating several of us at one time and usually in an open area with no privacy.

Unlike many other PT places the Atlanta Back Clinic does not rush you through, nor do they make your feel that you are one of many. They give compassion, concern and individual intention to reduce or heal ,your musculoskeletal condition . It is a lifeline for those of us who know despair and pain when your body won't move the way you would like it to. My therapist, Audrey Jones, enables me to get up in the morning and to continue my life. They also have a little gym for patients who want to workout there. It's not the most modern space, but the expertise of all who work there makes up for its institutional look. Group Pilates and Yoga classes are also offered.

The Atlanta Back Clinic has no rival... The level of knowledge, concern, compassion and expertise in treating (and more importantly, correcting), a multitude of musculoskeletal/neuro related symtoms is unparalleled. I have experienced and struggled with chronic low back issues for years; finding remedy was elusive - and then I found the ABC. Within the confines of the ABC, Rich Nyberg and Staff have worked and partnered with me. I have not only been able to eliminate pain, but the restoration of mobility and proper function as well. Learning the corrective exercises and proper biomechanics has been an added bonus. Life is a journey.... the ABC can help you to enjoy the ride....

I'm truly grateful for the excellent care I've received at ABC, especially from Dr. Rich Nyberg. I've had several problems and he proved to have the perfect combination of scientific understanding and intuitive touch. I feel very lucky to have found him.

I have a chronic illness called fibromyalgia and have been in and out of physical therapy centers for years. I did not find real help until I was lucky enough to be referred to Atlanta Back Clinic. The staff was friendly and professional and all of my concerns were eased right away. I was taken on by physical therapist Debbie Herberger who specialized in cases like mine. She began to use a technique with me that not only improved my flexibility but also helped me learn how to manage my condition at home. Although my condition can be debilitating, as it was when I first walked into the clinic over ten years ago, I now lead a very active life and work full time as a classroom teacher of first graders. Atlanta Back Clinic has and still is making a difference in my life. Do yourself a favor and give them a call today.

For more than twenty years I was in pain from an automobile accident and could not stand up straight. Every orthopedic surgeon I consulted told me that my injuries could not be retrogressed. Subsequently I was in another accident, and a nurse at the Shepherd Center recommended that I see Rich Nyberg at Atlanta Back Clinic. After three sessions I could stand straight, and pain, which had been a central force in my life, was just not there. This man holds a lantern, not a searchlight, to understand not only the body but the entire being of whoever is entrusted into his care. He has integrity and intelligence coupled with immense kindness and compassion. It is grace to go to this healer.

I started back therapy with Rich Nyberg with severe back and neck pain. I had been to one orthopedist who told me there was nothing I could do but take cortizone shots on a periodic basis. I had also tried a chiaopractor with absolutely no success. Rich identified my back and neck problem quickly and I have been in long term treatment. I didn't appreciate for many months how important breathing was to relaxing back and neck muscles. I have made amazing progress once I understood this principle.

I have a very unstable back which from time to time goes out on me. I also have osteoporosis which does not help. I have been going to The Atlanta Back Clinic for over 30 years and would not go elsewhere. Currently I take Pilates classes there to which I am totally devoted. Strengthening my core muscles have stabalized my back and decreased my bone loss along with medication for this silent but deadly desease. Audrey Jones is my therapist and Pilates instructor. Her resume is incredible! She and all the staff at this place are wonderful and very helpful. If you need therapy for any part of your body, they know it all. Don't wait one moment.....take advantage of everything these incredible people can offer!

I have tried everything in the past 10 years to alleviate lower back pain, including accupunture, VAX-D, chiropractic adjustments, yoga, and most recently, spinal injections, with minimal improvement. I love to play golf but with each stroke, pain ensued. Now that I have worked with Rich Nyberg(PT) and now Audrey Jones (PT and certified Pilates instructor), I am gaining strength in my core and becoming a "mean machine". No kidding, I am gaining strength in muscles I never knew I had, not only in the core area, but also in my legs, arms, and even my neck. My golf game is improving, as is my pain level. As my sports orthopedist said, "these therapists are the teachers of other therapists...they are the best". Now, off to the links!

I have seen many different therapists for symptoms from a chronic illness. When I was referred to ABC, I knew I was in a special place. The first evaluation session, never had anyone been so thorough. The next few sessions I began to see results and decreased pain. I can say that these folks know there "stuff". I've never had a problem with any staff member and have always been treated with respect. This has been an ongoing relationship for almost 20 years for me and I am very pleased. I recommend ABC to everyone I meet that has a need for high quality Physical Therapy.

I've had chronic neck pain for years, but my condition recently became so bad that the pain went into my fingers. I chose to go to the Atlanta Back Clinic for physical therapy because I heard such good things about them. The physical therapy care at the Atlanta Back Clinic exceeded my expectations. I have received individualized, expert care and I am learning how to manage my condition. My pain and mobility are so much better than beforeee physical therapy. My husband has been treated for a low back problem at the Atlanta Back Clinic and he had an equally positive experience. If you prefer generic one-size-fits-all physical therapy, this clinic is not for you! But if you want individualized physical therapy from expert physical therapists with a 30-year track record, I recommend the therapists at the Atlanta Back Clinic.

For 9 years various therapists at Atlanta Back Clinic have treated me for various sports injuries and physical limitations: tendonitis, knee surgery rehab, fibromyalgia, general strengthening. They excel where other other clinics have failed with me. Atlanta Back Clinic has taught me how to maintain my health. I can't recommend anyone more highly than the Clinic.

Highly individual therapy for multiple back issues. No formula exercises. Audrey Jones never makes you feel that she's in a hurry. She gives you 100% for the time that you are there. The staff are courteous and helpful. It has been a very unexpectedly pleasant experience. Back issues are being resolved and I am more fit all over.

I have taken excellent Pilates courses and private Pilates sessions from Audrey Jones at the Atlanta Back Clinic. Because Audrey is a licensed physical therapist, she is able to explain really well how your body should move and which muscles to target, and she also will adjust exercises for you if you are having any physical problems. The classes are intimate and provide a thorough workout. I have tried other Pilates courses at private studios but none have been as good as the ones at the Atlanta Back Clinic. All of the staff at the Clinic that I have met were extremely nice! I highly recommend Audrey Jones and the Atlanta Back Clinic!

Atlanta Back Clinic has the best physical therapists in Atlanta, hands down. If you're looking for therapists that will get to the root of the problem, I highly recommend this place.
