Atlanta Center for Dermatologic Disease PC

I have visited this office many times over the yrs - first with teenagers - ten yrs ago - and most recently with my own skin issues. Scarlett Melton is wonderful - honest, compassionate and helpful and I have seen her many times. This past week she was not available and I had to see Norma Gordon - she walked into the room and belted out "you have cancer". I asked her if I had another melanoma (which I was treated 4 weeks ago for) and she said no but you still have cancer. I had to ask her to define exactly what we were dealing withshe was brisk and condesending. This is not what one needs when they are dealing with health issues....

I had seen Dr. Berman many years ago and was completely disappointed in that visit. I remember waiting for a long time and then he rushed me out the door. I was once again re-referred to this practice by another doctor. I reluctantly set up an appointment there. I got a P.A. this time because of the short notice. I am so happy that I got assigned to Felicia. She was amazing. She was very patient and knowledgeable. She is younger and eager to assist. She will be my dermatologist for life. I did have to wait for longer than I prefer, but she was worth the wait.

I have visited this office 3 times, once with my daughter and twice for me. The average wait time is over an hourI walked out today after being there for an hour, having not seen the physician. They will make appointments at 1:30 and then tell salespeople that the doctors don't return from lunch until 2:00. My time is worth more than their service....

I visited the Hembree office, saw Felicia, morning appointment. I found her to be thorough, intelligent, super nice, asked me a lot of questions and answered mine. I left another doctor in Marietta, where I spent sometimes up to 1 hour waiting in the exam room for a 2 minute visit with the doctor. So happy to have found this group.

I made an appointment after seeing their listing on the Cigna website. I had a 2pm appt w/Norma Gordon, PC-C and by 2:20 I was at the checkout counter paying. She did not ask me one question or explain anything to me. My visit was for cysts/abscess (I was not sure what they are, I'm still not sure what they are). The first words out of her mouth immediately after her name was "you're going to need surgery". There was a complete lack of sympathy or compassion and I wasn't given an opportunity to ask questions or advise of additional skin issues I was having. It was a rushed appt, in and out. I will never go back and now have to make an appt for another dermatologist as I still have no idea what's going on.
