Sales fine - Service sucks
When you buy a bike, you get service for life. Good deal, but you have to then live with the condescending, disinterested, and rude service dept if you do it.
If you just want a bike - a bike to, say, ride around casually - don't come here. They made it clear from the get-go that they are not interested in family business.
We went in 7 weeks ago to have our son's bike serviced - he is third in line. It is a decent kid's bike, Raleigh, from a FL bike shop 5 years ago. Well worn. They told us it wasn't worth the money to recondition it- and we had to pretty much talk them into it. They shrugged, gave attitude.
We left for vacation.
While we were gone, for a month, they called us to say it was ready. They left no number, life got in the way, we got back. Another couple of weeks passed. We went to pick up the bike. 7 weeks later in all - and were told with no apology that they "discarded" it. The bike was gone.
THey never called to tell us this was to be expected, no warning. We lost track, they threw out our bike. End of story.
We were in the process of buying another bike - from an informed and very pleasant salesperson - an expensive bike - when they gave us the news. We left, and withdrew our business.
Our four-year-old son cried on the way home.

Bad Experience
Although I have made numerous small purchases here over the years, I recently had a bad experience here regarding a service issue. I left a wheel to be rebuilt and the service tech decided to replace the silver spokes with black spokes because that is what they had on hand. I'm kind of funny but I like the wheels on my bike to match up. They removed the spokes and gave me back the other parts of my wheel and the manager said he would refund the charge to my credit card but never did. I had to dispute the transaction with my bank. I will go elsewhere now. Maybe they will close up and a nice restaurant will move in there.

Bike Snobs :(
I hate to say it but they are. Do they know bikes.yes, but at the same time they have an idea about what a bike rider is and looks like.which limits their knowledge & selling ability. They offer no options if you don't fit in their "small box" of ideas. Great place if you are a homogenized rider, other wise venture out and support other bike shops that truely want your business no matter who you are or what type of rider you are. Good luck!...

Cycling
Cool little shop that seems to appeal to all levels of riders. Good service and friendly staff, but their selection of bikes is very small compared to other shops.

Great LBS (Local Bike Shop)
We recieved excellent service on a Saturday afternoon despite a crowded store. Also, any bike you buy gets free service for life!
