WOW. I really, really should have read the reviews on here before venturing into this place. After reading these reviews, it has become apparent that very little (if anything) has changed in this office over the last few years. Same dingy building, same broken suction in the dental chair, same harassing phone calls, same belligerent dentist. I must say that the hygienist, assistant, and front desk staff were all extremely sweet, gentle, and accommodating. Dr. Padolsky, however--what a monster. In the hour that I was in this office, I witnessed him belittle, insult, and yell at two female members of the staff to the point where one was almost in tears. IN FRONT OF ME AND ALL OF THE OTHER PATIENTS. I felt so horrible for these ladies who had been so nice to me, and whispered to one that I was sorry. She simply shrugged and said, "It's okay, he does this all the time." That was all I could possibly stomach. Suffice to say, I will NOT be returning to this office any time soon. I genuinely hope that these kind girls find work at another office, where they will not have to deal with this abuse.

The service was ok. But I've repeatedly asked them to stop calling me. At this point I have contacted the FCC and the better business bureau. I don't know what are my next options but their persistence is overbearing.

As someone with a fear of going to the dentist (based on an experience I had as a child), choosing one, let alone going to one, can be difficult. So when a nationally-advertised dental service recommended Atlanta Dental Group as my "top choice," I presumed all would be good. Big mistake. The negatives... -- They didn't seem to care that I had a legitimate fear of dentists. -- As others have said, the building is cramped. I almost got bonked in the head by an x-ray machine courtesy of a technician who wasn't paying much attention. -- Dr. P tried to sell me cosmetic dental work when I didn't need or want it. -- The turnover of the front desk, with the exception of who I believe is Dr. P's son, shocked me. I've been there four times, and I've never seen the same people at the front. -- The person who I believe is Dr. P's son made a side comment to me about how the office "loved my insurance." Given the numbers they were throwing at the company, as well as the out-of-pocket costs, I could see why. On the positive, another dentist who works there, Dr. Chung, was very nice and did a great job handling a dental issue I had. He didn't have the "snake oil charm" I saw from the others. Earlier this week, I opted to go to another dental office, one my wife has used for years (and before she met me). They helped me overcome my fears and made me feel relaxed, not nervous and scared like I did at Atlanta Dental Group.

Have not been to Atlanta Dental Group in 10 years due to various reasons and WILL NOT go back ! Last week I start getting calls, "we notice that you are over due for routine cleaning, please call to schedule an appointment..." I'll say it again, have not been there in 10 years.... It's kind of like an old friend that you haven't heard from in a long time, calls all friendly, how you doing, etc...then asks to barrow money.... Extremely questionable business practices !!!

This is absolutely the worst experience of any dentist I have ever had. They are all about money and have no respect for people's time. Also, good luck getting a return call when they owe you money for services they did not perform. They expect money up front for services and currently have over $3000 of my money for a device that was never ordered. It was an awful experience getting impressions for the device where Dr. P was extremely rude to me and his staff and was very rough in forcing the trays into my mouth. I was told me that it would take 4-6 weeks to get the device made and the office would call me when it was ready. After not hearing from the office for over 6 weeks I called for a status update. After leaving multiple messages I was told that the situation was complicated and I would have to come down to the office to talk to Dr.P. This was very frustrating they could not tell me the truth over the phone. It turns out that they never even ordered the device yet did not have the decency to let me know this 6 weeks before. I went down there on a Sat and met with the dentist and he said he made a lot of excuses and said he would apply the money to future services. They even had the nerve to request $6000+ more in advance to secure the "workers" in advance of the other procedures. At this point I have no confidence in this dentist to actually deliver on promises or services. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this dishonest practice.

On a standard dental visit Dr. Padolsky spent 45 minutes of my time, without even asking if I was interested, trying to upsell me on cosmetic work. I was furious. I spent thousands there on a TMJ diagnosis and bought a mouthpiece. Today I asked how much it would be to get a new mouthpiece as the current one is starting to wear. I was told I needed to come in pay for the entire service again despite the fact that they still have my original impression and my mouthpiece fits absolutely perfectly. Take a look at the email I received from their office. They are interested in gouging the customer for every nickel - not quality dental care. RUN! I'm a little shocked by the reviews on here. I've been a patient of Dr. P for a long time now. He has a very odd sense of humor and I think that can be polarizing for many people. If you can get past his sense of humor you realize just how good a dentist he is. He's got tons of awards and comes highly recommended. He does great work and while it's not the least expensive work I've had done I also think it's the best.

I wouldn't advise going here, Dr. P treated his staff unprofessional and when I seen the bill..WOW. I know going to the Dentist isn't a good time, but they charge alot for services that should be a fraction of that cost. I surely won't be going back there anytime soon. This clincs #1 goal is to make money..

My review is similar to many others on here, but I must write it. I went to this dentist on a Saturday because my regular dentist was not open. I had been in pain all week and it became very very severe on Saturday. They charged me up front for x-rays that they did not use, and then took advantage of the late hour and the situation to convince me to agree to a root canal. To this day I am not sure I needed it. I paid for them to start and finish the root canal. Once they started it, I realized that they would force me to purchase a $1200 crown from them, or they would not finish the root canal. On Monday I came on this site and was terrified. I'm still mad at myself for not checking Kudzu sooner. I did not return and attempted to get my money back for the second half of the root canal procedure. It has been a 3 month battle between the dentist and my credit card company. They have the most riciulous paperwork that I had to sign that is basically them totally stealing your money. Do Not Go To This Place. All of the other posts on here are correct: they are only out for your money and do not care about proper care or your well being.

This has to be the worst experience I had with a dentist my whole entire life! I don't even know where to begin...I recevied a root canal which they NEVER completed..they refused to complete it so I am walking around with un uncomplete root canal for the past year. They a habitual telemarketers and they call me once a week for a cleaning even though I have told them I don't want their services anymore. Yes this place is filthy and cramped!!!! Today I received an unauthorized payment from my checking account for $25. When I called and asked they could not tell me why they charged me $25. Today was the last straw!! I called the Better Business Bureau on them and filed a complaint for harassment and unauthorized charges. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. STAY AWAY!!!!!

So many reasons not to go here! They charge for services they do not perform. They sent me to a collection agency b/c they were to lazy to send me a bill. And they currently owe me money and I'm pretty sure they will do whatever possible to get out of paying. But, if I owed them money it would be a totally different story. Dr. P is down right mean and the staff changes every month b/c they cannot hire competent people. Save your money and don't go here.

The dentist in charge, doctor padolsky, along with the front desk are very manipulative and will do anything to extract as much money from you. The office is filthy. The dental tools and chair/lights were broken. They definitely lie and try to cheat you! Stay away!

Horrible billing experience and unprofessional staff. The office is small, cramped and too open. Completely incompetent accounting staff...I needed an emergency service for which I had to pay out of pocket. They do NOT accept dental insurance on the weekends. They misfiled the claim and gave me the run around for several months regarding reimbursement of fees that I and my insurance company both paid them. Ultimately, I had to get my insurance company and credit card company involved to get a resolution. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY NO MATTER WHAT!
