This provider has an excessive wait time of 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours before you are taken to the back and then you still have to wait again for an unknown amount of time. Not worth it.

I,have been seeing Nancy for years and I would not go anywhere else. Exceptional service! No procedure is too small or large. She is diligent on treating my over exposure to sun , removed foreign objects from my leg, treated my wife too. We both are thrilled to have a doctor of this caliber taking care of us.

Dr. Hamilton's practice has changed dramatically over the course of 3 years. It is very clear that all she cares about is making money on cosmetic procedure. I was diagnosed with Melanoma Stage 0 and I had the surgery at Hamilton's office. The post care after the procedure was dreadful and there was zero follow up. I developed an infection and a hematoma because the office did not give me good instructions and follow up care after my Melanoma surgery. Dr. Hamilton actually told me that the insurance companies don't cover bandaging post op and that she doesnt make money on bandaging. I was referred to as the Melanoma calf patient every time I went back for follow up that I initiated. I have since fired her and tell everyone that I know NOT to go to her. It is really sad because the practice used to be good before she was only interested in making money.

Here at Atlanta Dermatology, Vein & Research Center, Dr.Hamilton and her staff treat every patient with the same respect and level of care, no matter the modality of payment. Surgical patients, however have always been, and continue to get, even further personalized attention. Written post-operative instructions given to every surgical patient include Dr. Hamilton's personal cell phone number and the numbers of her Physician Assistants. An emergency contact number is also given on the after-hour telephone message if the patient loses the written instruction. We also see post-operative patients for any concern, any time. Some post-operative care discussed or available at the office is not routine care, but rather treatment options to provide additional cosmetic improvement of the scar. This additional treatment which may include long-term specialized dressings and/or lasers are usually not covered by insurance. We are proud to offer the latest in scar reduction techniques, but to provide such at no charge would not be financially possible.
We are always sad to hear that any patient did not feel they were treated with respect or adequate care. We take feedback seriously and will continue to monitor our policies and procedures to ensure patients are receiving quality care. It would be wonderful to be able to provide all dressings and every new technology to improve healing and scarring at no charge, but, unfortunately this is an unrealistic goal.
I had VNUS closure and sclerotherapy done. Paper work did not indicate (nor did the staff inform me) that followup visits would not be included in initial cost of procedure. It wasn't until I received a bill from the office that I realized the visits were not covered. For a five minute office visit which included a ten second ultrasound of vein, I was charged $600. I have a high deductible and had to pay out of pocket for this. When I called to complain, I spoke with a gentleman from the accounting department. He stated that the paper work I signed had this disclosed and that I probably just didn't read it. He was very rude and tried to make me feel dumb. I had all my documents in front of me and this information was not disclosed. Another issue was that I was informed I would get a second sclerotherapy treatment done for free since I was having it completed at time of VNUS closure. When I went in for this second treatment,I was told that they did not do this and I would have to pay. What!! Why would I have made this up? They missed several areas the first go round, but wasn't worried because I knew I would be going back for a free followup. Horrible customer service. Would not recommend this office to anyone. I am actually telling people my horrible experience and will continue to do so every chance I get!

Some procedures include follow up visits depending on the type of treatment. The physician office visit surgical follow up is included, however, follow up diagnostic procedures such as ultrasounds are not included and are billed to insurance. This is standard practice.
We try to do the best we can informing patients of all associated costs up front. We have moved the information that informs patients of these costs to the front of the surgery paperwork. We appreciate the feedback and will continue to ensure that we make patients aware of what to expect.
I have been a patient here for 8 years for everything from regular mole checks, excisions, rosacea, laser treatments, to cosmetic procedures. At first I was seeing Dr. Hamilton, who was great, but now have been seeing Nancy Duong who is amazing. She takes the time to listen and give honest advice and is extrememly personable. I can't imagine going anywhere else and have had a great experience going here for the last 8 years. The entire staff is nice, helpful, and non-intimidating. As for the wait times in other reviews - I have had to wait on rare occassions due to emergencies, but you do at any doctor's office. I have not had to wait an inordinate amount of time in living memory.

I have been to this clinic several times and loved Renee the laser technologist, who I believe is no loner there. I had a terrible experience with botox injections from Dr. Dhar. I had a droopy eyelid as a result of Dr. Dhar and went back to see if any correction could be applied. He said sorry and refused to give me my money back. Needless to say, I have not gone back since and warn friends not to go to Dr. Hamilton's practice. It's true that she rarely remembers patients' names and comes off as Dr. Ice Queen.

I love visiting Dermatology & Vein Institute, especially Nancy Doung. She and the staff are so friendly, caring and professional. They make it a great experience, very comfortable and relaxed and offer advice in a professional manner. They put a human touch on the visit with their humor and interest in your life. i always look forward to my visit to see Nancy. Jim Merkel

Dr Hamilton and her staff are by far the most professional and exceptionally caring team in Atlanta. My teenage daughter had a routine exam for her acne a few years back. Nancy, Dr. Hamilton's PA found 13 pre cancerous cells on her nose. She immediatley treated and provided a plan to prevent any future occurances. My daughter now takes great care of her skin because Nancy spent the time to educate and counsel her on sun damagage, etc. Since going to Dr. Hamilton, my adult acne is cured and my skin much improved. Many say I look 10 - 15 years younger! I highly recommend Dr.Hamilton for all anti aging fillers, applications and treatments.

Dr. Hamilton and her staff are absolutely wonderful and the very BEST at what they do. I love going to see her and always feel so welcome by everyone. Dr. Hamilton always takes her time when she is seeing you and her excellent and knowledgeable PA's do the same as well. She is on the cutting edge of her profession and is considered to have the highest expertise by top physicians in her field in the most current medical procedures available to help you look and feel your very best. She is sought after for her technique and knowledge throughout the country/world and trains many in her profession. She has the most current and advanced lasers in her office of any doctor in town. Even if I were to move to another city I would return to her for all of my dermatology needs. At 48 years old, I look and feel better (without looking fake or plastic) than I ever have thanks to Dr. Hamilton and her wonderful staff. I used to live on the west coast and I just took a trip to see longtime friends and they all commented how great my skin looks and I quote,"What was doing to look so great?!" They all want to fly to Atlanta now to see Dr. Hamilton! I would never go to anyone else for any of my needs or my family's needs that she can accommodate! She is now seeing my teenage children as well and they absolutely love her. My teenage daughter's skin has never looked more beautiful. She is the VERY BEST!

I have been seeing Nancy, Dr. Hamilton's PA, for 3 years. She always takes time to answer all of my questions and makes sure that I am happy. Thank you Nancy. For everyone with negative reviews due to waiting...there is no such thing as a Dr's office that runs completely on time. The level of care that you get at Atlanta Dermatoloty and Vein is definitely worth it.
