Atlanta Dog Spa

When you walk into the lobby, yes this place is clean, organized and the staff is very friendly and personable.
Downstairs where they keep the dogs for daycare is like walking into a dungeon, dark damp and smells strange. I'd say if you have a large dog this place would be "OK" but their small dog section is pitiful and teeny tiny. Many of the dogs that go there are more aggressive than would be excepted at other reliable dog daycares. I would not leave my medium size dogs here.

I went out of town for about two weeks and left my dog at Atlanta Dog Spa. I provided the staff with every possible phone number to contact me, and I also provided my dog's vet's contact information.

At some point, my dog broke her leg, but the staff did not realize this. They eventually took her to the Humane Society Vet who gave my dog antibiotics. I never received a phone call informing me that anything had happened. When I came to pick her up, they told me she hurt her leg and was given antibiotics.

Immediately, I noticed she was not walking properly and rushed her to my vet. My dog had a spiral fracture and was in a cast for 6 weeks. Her leg will never be perfect again because the staff did not provide her with proper care. I called Atlanta Dog Spa to inform them of the seriousness of my dog's injury, but they just said sorry and shrugged off the whole thing.

I have not boarded my dog since. I will only allow her to stay with friends and family who actually care. If you love and adore your dog, do not send him or her here!

The staff at the Atlanta Dog Spa is amazing. They actually care about every dog like its their own dog. Its very clean and fresh. They use all natural shampoos and cleaners. If you ever want the best possible care for your dog, please bring your dog to this place. You will be so happy. The value exceeds any place in Atlanta and most everywhere else. The Atlanta Dog Spa was just voted Best of Atlanta 2009 by the US Dept of Commerce. That says it all.

I used to take my pup to ADS, but stopped after several horrible interactions. ADS frequently overcharged me by adding extra days to my boarding. When I would question the overcharge, I would always get "I don't know how that happened". They once lost a toy I left for my pup to feel safe. The owner accused me of lieing about leaving the toy and said I was just trying to get a free toy out of them. It was a two cent squeeze toy for crying out loud. Needless to say, they called the next day when they found it. The interior is disgusting beyond the lobby. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I started taking my pup here over a year ago and he loves it as much as I do! I was so relieved to find a place where he could run around all day instead of being locked in a crate. Unfortunately, I'm moving to a new city and I don't know what I'll do without the great gang at ADS! They will love your dog as much as you do.
