Will Only Use Them For Boarding and Training
Every interaction we've had with anyone from Atlanta Dog Trainer has been great. From talking to Susie through email, working with Trish at our house, or working with Sonja or Malcolm at the pet resort - Susie and her staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional. We've recommended Atlanta Dog Trainer to several of our friends and will only use Atlanta Dog Trainer Pet Resort for boarding (even though it's a 40 min. drive, it is still well worth it).

Sherlock is a changed pup!
Sonja took our adopted dog, Sherlock, and taught him manners and discipline. We loved his personality, but had no control over his antics (chewing, lack of obedience, etc.) Sherlock came back from the 2 weeks of board training with a solid foundation that we (dog lovers, but inexperienced) can focus on everyday. The follow-up lesson was extemely helpful to train us on how to keep him excited, engaged and behaved.

Ji Kim transformed my rescue puppy!
I contacted Susie Aga after my rescue puppy spent 5 weeks boarding with a dog trainer that relies on outdated "dominance imprinting" methods, which resulted in skittish behaviors. Susie was extremely helpful and encouraged me to sign up for the 6-week intermediate course taught by Ji Kim. On the first day of class, my puppy was extremely nervous and shy. He spent most of the first couple of classes sniffing the ground and reluctantly participating in the lessons. Ji was extremely patient with my puppy and adapted the lessons to match his comfort level. He also gave us exercises to work on outside of class.
Throughout the duration of the six weeks, I was pleasantly surprised as I watched my puppy develop confidence as he learned new commands and skills and evolved into a well-behaved puppy. Ji taught many valuable commands that our previous trainer did not teach. Many of the training exercises were extremely helpful at home as we worked on teaching the puppy to respect our elderly cat.
By the 4th class, he started to come out of his shell. During the last couple of classes, everyone was amazed at how much my puppy had improved. Although he had initially approached Ji with caution, my puppy enthusiastically greeted him with his tail wagging during weeks 4-6. I have also noticed many positive improvements outside of class. I highly recommend Atlanta Dog Trainer and Ji Kim to anyone who is looking for a kind, knowledgeable, and professional dog trainer.

Best Dog Training
I went to Susie Aga several years ago for some behavioral problems with my dog. She completely changed my relationship with my dog for the better. She understands dogs and helped me realize how some of my actions were adversely affecting how my dog acted. She assigned daily exercises for us and after 6 weeks I witnessed a remarkable transformation. I really didn't think it would work, but I was so pleasantly surprised. I now go every week to the Agility classes just to have fun and soak up the positive environment of the facility. It is a high point of my week. Susie is amazing and her staff are top-notch. I definitely recommend Susie specifically, and any activity at the Atlanta Dog Trainer facilities.

Thank you Trish Carpenter & Atlanta Dog Trainer!!
Trish helped us tremendously with our 2 rescue black lab sisters. We rescued 2 sisters that were full of anxiety & at times would be aggressive towards each other. Trish came to our house and helped show us to ensure heiarchy was in place as well they have mastered sit, lay down, stay, and shake. They are so much happy within their own skin and so we are we :O) We have a 2 year old son that loves them and they love him; they will even let him "walk" them on their leash. I don't know where we would be if it weren't for Trish Carpenter. Thank you!!
