Atlanta Fish Market

Big night for my wife and I28th anniversary. Had reservations at 8:30 for what I hoped would be a quiet, delicious dinner at a fancy buckhead restaurantboy did a blow it! This place was like an overcrowded high school gym during a championship basketball game. We were stuck standing in a que line of dozens of people while we waited the 30 minutes after our reservation time to finally get seated. The place was uncomfortably loud and extremely overcrowded. Luckily for me my wife's snapper was good but my stuffed flounder was a tasteless mishmash of fish parts swimming in some sort of oily broth. in addition to my below average dinner they do not have sweet iced tea, which I consider a vital part of any good dinner.I congratulate the Buckhead life group for having such a successful business but this place was not for me....

Consistently good seafood, but non-seafood is hit or miss. Service is generally great, but I have had problems with the kitchen not getting my order right.

The food at AFM is delicious. I had a chilean sea bass and salmon combo and my wife had the surf and turf special. The service was excellent as well. When I made the reservation I told them it was my wife's birthday, and several times throughout the evening the staff would wish her a happy birthday. They even brought out a free dessert for her.Our only issue was the ambiance. If you are looking for a romantic dinner, this is not the place. The atmosphere was akin to a food court environment, and the decor was abysmal and out-dated.So as long as you don't really care about a romantic environment, we recommend Atlanta Fish Market.

Delicious food, from the Fish Market Hot Tower appetizer to the Blackened Atlantic Salmon (awesome!), AFM "Chopped Salad", Black Grouper, wine, and dessert combined with spectacular service and excellent atmosphere! Everything together created a perfect background for an enjoyable time for our whole group!...
