Atlanta Floor One

Main reason we chose Rudy and his company, Atlanta Floor One, over few other companies and quotes we received was that he was very knowledgeable and confident from our first meeting. Another reason that made us to go with him was that he said he would be present throughout the process and he was as he said and actually worked along his crew. On top of this we liked his price which was very reasonable. We will call him again for sure if we have any other floor project.

Rudy is a nice guy and worked with me the whole process. He provided honest feedback and also helped me get right materials for the project.
They did not rush and took time to get thing done right. The only small issue I had is that there are minor squeaking in two areas they found uneven subfloor and worked to smooth and put nail down to flatten the subfloor. They should have put more nails down, I guess. But I 'm not horribly bothered about it, at least for now. I notice that the squeaking only happens when you walk on after having not walked on these areas for a while (like overnight). after few steps, these minor squeaking goes away. Plus some of that may be due to the old plywood subfloor being weak that is out of their control.

Their price is quite competitive. Out of 4 quotes I got, their is 2nd lowest. Also the post-project cleanup was quite ok. Of course they will not clean as thorough as I will, but hey, after all, I am the owner of the house.
Overall I'm quite satisfied with their work, although i felt they could have spent a little more time on preparing the subfloor but again, not big deal. Plus, they have fixed other squeaks in the floor.
Overall, I will rank them something between 4 and 5 for overall, but there is no such scoring option so I round it up for 5, while ranking quality at 4, service at 4 and value at 5.

In summary, I would recommend them for my friend and I will definitely hire them again for next job

We hired Atlanta Floor One to install hardwood floor downstairs, stairs and hallway. Rudy and his team were absolutely professional and they did an outstanding job. Their price was absolutely reasonable. Rudy explain everything in detail to make sure we choose the right hardwood for our floor. We are very happy and floor looks great. Rudy followed up several times after the job was done to make sure we were happy. We will definitely hire Rudy and his team for the future work. They are great!! We chose to use Atlanta Floor One after getting several quotes. Rudy's price was not only better, but his explanations of what all of this would entail made me very comfortable in using his company. From beginning to end, Rudy did exactly what he said he would do, showed up when he said he would, and completed the job exactly as promised. His crew is very friendly, very hard working, and experts at what they do. We had all of our 20 year old floors ripped out, and new hardwoods put in. Rudy was very helpful and patient while I tried to choose the right stain, which wasn't easy. We ended up with the most beautiful floors. I could not be happier. Afterwards, because it can be messy and dusty, Rudy sent in a cleaning crew who meticulously cleaned, mopped, dusted everything. It was awesome. I would one hundred percent, for sure, use Atlanta Floor One again. In fact, we have two bathrooms that need to be re-tiled and I plan on using Rudy and his company. You will not be disappointed with Atlanta Floor One. They are the best!

Rudy and his team helped install hardwood floors in our home. They were very professional and the quality of their work was excellent. The whole project went very smooth with them showing up on time, completing the job as scheduled and addressing all our questions. Their prices are also fair considering the quality of their work. We will definitely be using them for any future flooring jobs. Would highly recommend them.
