I rented a house from Lisa Iakovides, an Atlanta Intown realtor. The house was advertised as a three bedroom, but the third "bedroom" was really a basement that flooded significantly whenever it rained. The flooding problem started in September and after the first flood happened during every significant rain until she finally addressed the problem in March. When we moved out in June, we thoroughly cleaned the entire house, but she kept our security deposit saying that we did more damage to the house than the value of the security deposit. This is the eighth different house I've rented and the only time I've ever not gotten my security deposit back. I wouldn't consider renting from her again.

I was scared to buy a home and I had lots of problems with credit. Watching "first time home buyers" didn't help it either, since you can see how traumatizing and nerve racking is to buy a house, mostly with the resilient banks. Anyways I decided to buy a house without an agent, and as a midcentury contemporary lover I chose to buy in Northcrest, then I saw some houses from two different realtors and such. The ones that caught my eye for pricing and because they were really from honest sellers (and by honest I mean, they didn't try to hide the defects on the houses with cheap staging and paint, Im a stager myself and now what Im saying), those were listings from atlanta intown and specifically from Cindi Sokol. She wasn't my agent, she was the seller's agent. Nevertheless she believed in the proposal I made to buy one of the houses, she was honest and upfront and at the end I saved 3% (buyer's agent commission). Then we decided to write this here because we are upfront honest people, how cool would it be if you just have to deal with realtors like that you know? totally smooth and stress free process, we got the inspection she kinda knew what was to be repaired and just communicated that to the her client (seller), they fixed it, I didn't get to know the seller because he leaves out of state, but I guess he trusted in his agent enough to let her manage the whole deal. And I would do it too, kudos to Cindi.

We were first time home buyers and knew where we wanted to live. Additionally, we knew we wanted to go with an agent that understood and respected the neighborhood. Cindi did an amazing job representing us as buyers, mediated with difficult sellers, and was fun to work with. Her level of service went far above expectations.

Cindi sold our home in East Atlanta and really got us more than we ever expected from the sell. I think it was sold within a couple months. She stayed in constant contact with us and kept us up to date on everything. We also had her help with finding and purchasing a new house. It was a total find in an area that not a lot of people knew about. She negotiated the terms well. I actually wanted a few things thrown in with the sell and thought no way anyone would do that. She said we'll give it a shot. And sure enough she was able to get the sellers to include those items with the house. We love the house, area and had a great experience with her. Professional and personable.

Working with Randal was a breeze. He is a consumate professional and treated us great. There was some tension between the seller and us and he managed it well and handled everything to ensure a smooth close.

If you are unfortunate enough to fall in love with a house listed by Cindo Sokol of Atlanta Intown, DON'T BUY IT! She's a scam artist and a thief- doing her best to promote her own neighborhood- for her own gain. Her neighborhood is great, just buy a house from anyone, but her!

Suzanne Trammell at Atlanta Intown was the 3rd agent to try to sell my house - we had a good offer less than 2 weeks after signing with her. She was always available to us on both sides of the transaction (selling our house and buying a new one). I would highly recommend her to anyone needing to buy or sell a house intown.

Atlanta Intown Real Estate is the best realtor I have ever worked with. Maria Castillo was our buyers agent when we were looking to buy a new house in Kirkwood. She showed us a TON of properties and spent a TON of her own personal time working with us. The house we ended up buying was one that we loved but thought we'd never be able to afford. Maria was such a great agent and negotiator, she was able to negotiate the price down into our range as well as get our closing costs paid by the seller. She is AMAZING. Not to mention she is really fun to hang out with and I now consider her a friend. I would recommend Maria and Atlanta Intown to anyone who is looking to buy a house in the Atlanta market.

This company is outstanding in the Atlanta market. Out of all the real estate companies out there; Atlanta Intown Real Estate Services really went beyond all of my expectations. Ms. Stephens was very accommodating and worked with me due to my hectic work schedule. She is able to provide the most interesting facts about the listings and the parts of town that they are in. I felt very much at home as she described each property and its surroundings. I am very pleased with the outstanding effort that Ms. Stephens provided and if I ever buy a house again this company will get my business.

LT continued to help us even after we had closed on our home. She took the time to show us several houses and kept us informed of what was going on in our home buying process. She was wonderful!

This was the second place I looked, and they were great. Their staff helped me find the right neighborhood, and ultimately I had the builder contstruct a new house to my specifications with the realtor's help.
