Atlanta Motorworld Sales Dept.
I had a terrible experience after going to purchase a motorcycle. The greeting was less than cold and harsh. Everything was done with an aggressive tone and in a condescending kind of way.It seems like today's salesmen think that by using intimidation and aggressiveness they will make the customer feel bad enough that he or she will end up buying their product. I guess nowadays we need salespeople, they don?t need us. Comments along the line of "I am not worried if you don?t buy it I am sure somebody else will come and take it" are proof of that approach. The salesman was typing in all kinds of wrong numbers along the process and when I went to correct him he would look at me as if I were stupid and comment on it too. At the end I was proven to be right.I know that negotiating can be a PITA sometimes but its part of a salesman's job. I can accept a friendly "no I am sorry we are not able to do that" with a smile but not a "we don?t do that. What do you think we are?" or comments like the one stated above.Otherwise everything else was descent. The manager wasn?t extremely helpful but nonetheless nicer. The bike was an actual good deal but I just don?t deal with bullying salespeople.

Disappointed
Bought a bike there. Plenty of talk about the warranty during the sales "pitch". The bike presented a (known) warranty related issue within the the first month. This problem was been brought up by other owners to this dealer as well as other dealers across America. Apologies do not remedy the issue nor encourage me to purchase from them again. As far as service department - had a pleasant experience with one of the techs. One of the other techs was downright rude. Enough for me to stop going to this dealer. Customers DO CARE about how they are treated with respect to a major purchase. Why bother having a warranty if it is useless? Why not mention this model/make has a KNOWN and reported problem that the manufacturer is not willing to acknowledge or cover under said warranty when the buyer signs that purchase? If your service tech is having a bad day, why is he dealing with customers at all? Very disappointing. Free maintenance program reflects my bike was never entered into the database. Wish I had gone to another dealer.

Ducati Owner
It?s been a while since I?ve been to Atlanta Motor World, thankfully I haven?t had any trouble with my Ducati's since Ben has worked on them ;)! It?s nice to know that I can get professional help when I need it. Their European Specialist, Ben Brace, has been perfect for all of my service needs. He is very experienced and knowledgeable with Ducati motorcycles as well as other European brands. I have owned several motorcycles in my 30+ years of riding and his skills, attitude and helpfulness are top notch. I just wanted to say thanks, again. A+!!!

OK but not great
Bought a bike from them and they basically quoted me a good price on the bike and had a good offer. When I got in and added accessories to the bike the sales staff started "playing" with the numbers. Had a very used car feel to it as they kept upping the price of the bike during each rework of the numbers. I had to keep telling the sales guy that adding accessories shouldn't change the quoted price of the bike but eventually I gave in a paid a bit over the original quoted price but the price was still a good one. Back office sales was great and very smooth with no issues in the paperwork process. I have taken the bike in for servicing with mixed results. Two times it has been a nice experience with no issues and two times they have been late finishing the bike. They are sometimes really slow to work the front desk as well. They do eventually get the job done and do a fine job though.

Purchased My First Bike at Atlanta Motor World
I am surprised to read that review above.

I bought an '07 Honda Shadow Spirit from the shop and was treated well. The salesman, Neil, wasn't overly cheesy and in fact, very laid-back.

I visited other shops, Blue Moon, and Lawrenceville Yamaha, and both shops had some pretty pushy, used car-type salesmen which was a big turnoff.

Atlanta Motor World delievered my bike to me since I only had a permit, and the delivery guy was really nice and very knowledgeable and took the time to go over the bike with me.

The finance guy was even cool - and I wasn't even financing. I bought it outright.

I did have a small dent in my pipes upon delivery and ATM ordered a new one and replaced it promptly and politely - free of charge of course. The shop manager is Chris and he is very cool - but I did some people front up on him and he seemed to have no problem settling them down in a confident manner.

Personally, I respect that - others may be threathened by it or put off, but what are ya gonna do?

I give them props and plan to buy my next bike from them as well. beats hunting down another reputable dealer....
