MDs and medical assistants all knowledgeable
This practice is quick to respond to phone calls both during and after hours. I've never waited more than 30 minutes even when I was late. The Midwives are wonderful and take as long as you need them to explain your options if you're crying from frustration with breastfeeding, but are never pushy. The MDs always stay calm and take a conservative, but flexible approach to OB care instead of sticking to "protocols." If you need someone to keep you grounded, calm, but informed with the most up-to-date knowledge, this is the practice for you.

a Disappointment
I unfortunately dedicated almost 8 years to being a patient at this practice. When I was going in for a yearly checkup it seemed fine.Yet,when I got pregnant the tables turned.I have tried about 4 of the doctors there & each one has the inability to treat the patient w/ respect,& the nurses are just as bad. Not to mention the mess-ups.During my labor,I asked if the reason I needed to have a c-section was due to the cord wrapped around my baby's neck. I was told it was my hips(not true! I have been told my hips are fine for birth) they just did not want to scare me,so they lied.It scares me more knowing my doctors are not telling the truth,& if they had told me the truth I would have felt more comfortable under the knife and told them to rush me to have a c-section! The next bad experience was with a doctor who said: hmmm it looks like you might have a miscarriage in 2 weeks,& put the sonogram in his folder (did not give it to us)& left the room! He gave no instructions, so we went out of town for a wedding hoping everything would be okay,& there I had a miscarriage. awful. The next doctor that I decided to see at the practice gave me a pap smear while I was having a sonogram instrument up my yahoo and w/o my consent. Then her nurse sent me to get 4 viles of blood taken from my arm, that I questioned b/c I was certain I already had these test. Yet, she refused to look at my chart. After 4 extra viles were taken, it turned out I was correct. did the nurse apologize? NO.
