Atlanta Peach Movers cancelled on me at 10:30am on the morning of my move on May 27, 2016 stating they had "overbooked". I paid a deposit 3 weeks prior to my move date, had multiple email... communications with Shalettica, and confirmed the day before. Their manager, Tim, did not return any phone calls and had no contingency plan to get us moved. Fortunately, Jason Taylor Movers came to the rescue and were able to get us moved. To make matters worse, I am having to go through my bank to get my deposit refunded to me. Beware of these movers. They have unethical practices and extremely poor customer service.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
You need to improve your estimation process for the back office. Quote was way off. Move was 40% more than expected both times (did 2 moves in one month). Crews are hit or miss. Some are fantastic,... some are awful. Management - you need to really fix the business.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Yes, the crew was very polite and tried to do a good job, but these guys had no idea how to move furniture. They were inept and damaged furniture. We had insurance but when they broke a desk, they said that the crew was responsible for paying for everything. We did not get guilted into not filing a claim, and I will say we did receive a check after we proved what the cost was. Make sure you have receipts for all your property or you will not receive a dime. Their poor handling of our almost new front loader washer/dryer left chips on the washer and a dryer that didn't work. Their handling left the circuit board dead. (Can't prove that since we hadn't ran the dryer in front of them to show it worked before hand). That was an extra $250. They have received many great reviews so perhaps we had a bad day with a new crew, but I would NEVER use or recommend them to anyone.

A company-wide email was sent today after reading your concerns, but no one was readily able to identify you. Please send an email with your name and contact information to me, Bill Boone, at: email@example.com or call 678-728-2311. I will review the particulars of your move and claim to make certain things were and are handled above board. As of 10-16-12, we have not heard anything from this customer.
Moved locally and we were so impressed with APM. From the sliding of our closing dates, to getting someone out to disassemble our gym equipment, Jim McArthur took care of it all. Leon and his crew were workhorses. They moved our house and 2 trucks full of 'stuff' and made it all see so easy. Highly recommend this company.

I've done many types of moves, from doing it myself to hiring movers, and Atlanta Peach Movers provided by far the best experience. From the telephone reps to the movers themselves, the company was professional and concerned with making sure we were well-informed about and satisfied with our move. Our main concern was getting several heavy items to the second floor. With Peach's special rate (first week in Sept.) it was worth it to just have them do the whole move rather than hire a couple of movers for unloading only, at a two-hour minimum, once we factored in the time, having to get our own truck, etc. Peach's Kudzu rating and their AMSA ProMover certification sealed the deal. Along with walking us through the process from inventorying what we had to estimating the cost, customer service even called halfway through the move to make sure everything was going all right and that the movers were professional and had presented us with all of the information they were supposed to. Unlike other experiences I've had, the movers (at least from all appearances) were actually with the company, not hired out, which helped with everything running smoothly (I've had experiences where things didn't, and for that reason). Atlanta Peach wasn't "cheap," but I've found that you tend to get what you pay for and this was a very good value.

Jamel Reymond and his team did a great job of moving us on July 24. They were super efficient, very polite and worked really hard. The office on the otherhand seemed very unorganized. Had to call twice just to get someone to give us a quote and when I called to confirm the move a couple days ahead they couldn't find our name. Found out our rep was no longer with the company later. The important part, though, were the actual moving guys and they did a great job.

I called ATL Peach Movers for an estimate on my move from Roswell to Alpharetta. Matthew was the rep dealing with me and my wife. He was very detailed and had us fill out an extensive inventory sheet so they can get an idea about our move. We decided to forgo an on-site estimate. I really appreciated the detail that Matthew put into all the paperwork, but in the end the estimate was higher than what we were quoted by another moving company. Out of the four we looked at it was down to ATL Peach Movers and the one we chose. Although we didn't choose them for our move I will be recommending them to some family members and friends that will be moving in the future.

We had to load our entire house into PODS storage units until we could close on our new home. We hired a team of six men from this company to load two of the five storage units we needed. They handled all the heaviest furniture and boxes. They were the hardest working group of men I'd ever seen and the way they loaded the unit was amazing. One man stationed at the POD, packing it "high and tight", while the others brought out the furniture and staged it on the lawn in the driveway for him. I am in the shipping business and supervise fork drivers loading trailers on the docks, and have never seen anything loaded so tight. I was impressed. And they finished quicker than we expected! However, after they left I discovered a hole in the wall in our staircase and black streaks running down the carpet on the same staircase. Also in the hall upstairs there were black marks all over the carpet as well as gouges in the hard wood floors downstairs. They pulled a built-in gas fireplace away from the wall in an attempt to pick up and load (kinda funny, actually) and I had to reposition it, making sure none of the gas lines were damaged. The only complaint I have with this crew and company was the fact they advertise (very loudly) that they "roll out the red carpet" and protect all your floors before they move furniture. They did not put one piece of visqueen, much less red carpet on my floors before moving everything, and the end result was damages.

Moving from a large house that you have lived in for 19 years is a stressful experience. Peach movers made it a bearable one. Jim McArthur gave us the most accurate of the four estimates we received from local firms (we avoided major van lines as we were only moving 200 miles to North Carolina from Atlanta), and Jim stayed with us throughout the process with regular phone calls and e-mails. Supervisor Charles Hood and his experienced crew (driver Miller, Matlock, Tony, Rodriquez, Igor, Dimiti, and others) took care of our belongings the way we would have taken care of them. From the first introductory handshake to the last lock going on the storage locker door two days later in Asheville , Peach Movers did what they said they were going to do ... the mark of a solid business. We would use them again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

I guess I had a unique situation and needed to move some of my great grandmother's antique furniture 180 miles. Atlanta Peach Movers was the only moving company that was willing to figure out a way with a reasonable quote. This meant I had to wait a week longer than I expected, but it was completely worth it. The movers were on time (180 miles from Atlanta!) and very professional. They wrapped and delivered every piece with care. I am completely satisfied.

Highly recommend Peach Mover's team lead by Jose Cruz. We decided against using a scout mob coupon and instead try to find a solid local company that we could count on. Peach Mover's gave us a very accurate estimate of our costs, made planning easy, and followed through exactly as they promised. I highly recommend Jose Cruz and his team. They are courteous, diligent, and careful with your belongings. They worked hard for 5 hours without a break and got our move done within the time they promised.

I am writing to you in order to commend the quality of service I received recently from Atlanta Peach Movers. I would like to compliment all of your employees for the excellent service. The supervisor, Mr. Israel demonstrated professionalism, respect, a friendly personality along with the ability to organize the move within an adequate time-frame that exceeded my expectations. In addition, I was highly pleased with the professional manner in which all of them handled my furniture with excellent care to ensure no damage and also, my neighbors commented on the outstanding service. In this day and age good customer service is often difficult to find, and I feel it is important that it be recognized. Such a commitment to admirable customer service is to be commended. You have definitely gained a new customer who will refer all of my family, friends, and anyone whom ask about “moving” to Atlanta Peach Movers for years to come. Thank you for your commitment to good customer service. Keep up the good work.

Hickson's crew moved us this past weekend. They were punctual, friendly, efficient, polite, and were extra careful with all of our belongings. Nothing was damaged, and they were lightning fast. I will be moving again in several months and I've already told Hickson that I will be requesting their same crew to move me again; I only want the best! Thanks guys!!

We experienced impeccable service, professionalism, and quality work throughout our move. Jim helped us to schedule our move with ease. Brandon's crew of Anjuan, Aaron, Oleksii, and Yemets worked tirelessly for nearly 14 hours on a brutally hot July day. Throughout the move, they were extraordinarily careful, polite, professional, and even funny! They refused to break for lunch until our entire house was packed up on the truck (in order for us to be out of the house by our 3:00 buyer's deadline). The crew had to endure climbs up a steep driveway and several flights of stairs with rooms full of furniture. Even in their final hour of work, they were attentive to details and incredibly gracious. One of the crew even paused to assist me in straightening my son's crib skirt before gently laying the crib mattress down on top of it! I would highly recommend this company. They made an incredibly difficult move easy for us.

I had used APM for a past move that went well and they were able to move everything in 3 hours which included an hour drive. After adding a few pieces of furniture within the past year I expected this move to take a couple extra hours longer. What I didn't expect was for it to take nearly 8 hours!!! The drive this time was only 10 minutes away. The guys were very careful and didn't damage anything, but were not efficient with their time as the past crew had been. One of the guys was in no hurry to finish quickly, which slowed the other two guys down. I was disappointed after having a great experience last time. They seem to be hit or miss depending on the crew. UPDATE: Called the number in the response below and was told i would hear back from someone within a few days. After a few weeks there has been no response. The company obviously does not care about customer service. Proceed at your own caution

If you have a valid issue and are disappointed with our service, then you have to do nothing else than contact your sales person or our customer service department for resolution. Please understand that each move is different, and if you have added items and are moving to a different location, then it may take more time. Regarding our movers, they are the best-trained men you will find anywhere. In fact, we stake our reputation on the quality of their workmanship day in and day out. The evidence is clearly written within the hundreds and hundreds of positive reviews on this site. In any given forty-hour week, any one of our certified movers lifts about 40,000 pounds of furniture. If one of your movers wasn’t up to his usual potential, then give me a call at 678-728-2311 or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I’ll make it right. Bill Boone
