First time I used them, they delivered to the wrong address. This last time, I filled out an online order. No response. I called and left a message. No response. They must be doing well if they don't need my business. But I don't know how with that service.

This is the third time I have used Atlanta Pine Straw, and I have seen a marked decline in the quality. Lack of communication, poor planning, ignoring instruction, inferior workmanship are just a few of their shortcomings. I had put my order in seven weeks prior to their arrival, yet no account rep or supervisor came to review the work beforehand, and we have a 39 acre campus. Piles of unsightly bales of pine straw were "dumped" on sidewalks and in shrub beds to be left there for two days before the crew was able to haphazardly install them. Bedlines were not properly trenched (which I paid additional for)- I was told they no longer make the trenching equipment so they have to make due!; straw was not tucked or evenly spread. With a City as large as Atlanta, there has got to be be someone better. Stay away.

I've used Atlanta Pinestraw for two years. I think I'll look elsewhere. Last year, I asked that the pine straw be stacked by a fence gate. It was stacked on driveway 20 feet from where I asked it be stacked. 10 days ago I made an order speaking with a person specifically asking 6 bales by the front door and split the rest on either side of the house by the gate. "No problem". The night before the delivery, I emailed the company restating my request. Yesterday I came home and found all 30 bales on my driveway. Again. I called around 5pm (they close at 4:30) and left a message with my complaint requesting someone come out TODAY and fix it. I left my husband's cell phone number since I teach and can't get to a phone during the day. I came home tonight and spent 30 minutes shifting 30 bales of pinestraw, 4 of which fell apart when I picked them up. No one ever called back. As I said, I'm looking elsewhere.

I have lived in Atlanta all of my life, and have bought alot of pine straw. Atlanta Pine Straw is the best company I have dealt with. They have been in buisness a long time (for good reason)and have a great reputation. They install my pine straw every year and do a awesome job. They are honest about the bale count they use, which I have found most companies not to be! Be very aware of cheap prices. You will get burned. Keep up the good work APS.
