Although this store has a sign that says "48 Hour Turn-around" hanging outside, they kept my bike for over two months. I called weekly with no progress. For a week or so they closed the store and went on vacation, holding my bike hostage where I couldn't even get it. Then, I finally gave up and when I picked it up it was sitting out in the rain with the tires taken off, unfixed! Two months! They basically had it all summer and were very unapologetic about not getting the repairs done. Furthermore, my boyfriend took his bike in, they put two new tires on, he rolled out of the store and one basically popped in the parking lot. When he went back in to call foul on the service, they tried to charge him to fix something that he had just paid to have fixed . . . something they did a shoddy job on. Don't go here if you ever want your bike fixed or if you want any repairs to last over 15 minutes.

I usaually try to give places a chance to redeeem themselves, but no actions were taken to corrrect this situation, hence my review. I took my mountain bike here to have my gears and brakes adjusted. Several days later I go to pick up the bike, and they charge me $53! So I chalked it up as being a bit high, but when I was riding on a difficult trail a few days later, I noticed my hubs were clicking. I noticed NEITHER of mu hubs were locked!! On top of that, my gears were not shifting properly and my brake pads was not attached properly. I called them to give them an opportunity to make this right, and got a message that they were on vacation for a week and would return my call. I have yet to recieve a call back a month later.

This shop caters to everyone from novice to advanced riders! These guys know bikes better than anyone and are very knowlegeable in matching the right wheels with the right person! They will not try to over sell you! After deciding to start mountain biking, I was a bit intimidated at first when walking into a specialty bike shop. Those fears were immediately put at ease after meeting the owner, Chris. He put me in a bike that matched my skill level at an affordable price. You will not go wrong doing business with APB!
