These guys did everything they promised and more! I am so glad I chose them for my house and a rental house!
The job was delayed a few weeks due to the weather but once they started, they worked till sundown several days, including Sunday. It's an 8000+ sqft flat industrial roof and it looks like an 8000... sqft skating rink. I got 4 completely diff. bids. ARS wasn't the lowest bid but the most sensible and I believe the best value.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I had ARS replace my roof and do small construction projects around my house. The quality of their work is very good and I recommend them. I interviewed 5 different roofers and 4 different contractors and they stood out by explaining things well, doing quality work, and being willing to work with me.

ARS did work on a home for the previous owner of my home. Although the warranty for the work had expired, and the work required had little to do with the previous repairs, Mark from ARS came out and fixed the issues at little cost to me, without pushing more costly repairs. Couldn't be happier.

It is rare that I write a review 7 years after installation, but I have to say, we couldn't be happier with this company. After a prior roofer scammed us (had numerous affiliations and awards on his letterhead, including BBB), we couldn't reach them for leaks-- they wouldn't return calls and the BBB said they were not members. So, I learned my lesson the hard way and did due diligence prior to hiring ARS. We have a 10 year warranty and I've only called them 2 times for a ceiling stain-- only one of them was their work and they repaired it immediately. Very prompt. I only wish we would have paid a little bit more at the time to have the entire roof done (small flat section not done and now leaking- but young homeowners trying to save money--wish I'd have paid it then.) Please check all references, BBB, etc. before hiring a roofer. Not many are in business this long and stand by their warranties! Very satisfied customer.

They do ACCEPT credit cards but I think they failed to mention when we scheduled with them that they charge an extra 3% if you use one. I don't know who has $$ laying around ever for an unexpected roofing repair but I would imagine most customers expect to put these large purchases on their credit cards. They were on time. They were polite and professional. I am not sure yet how the job will hold up that they did but am very turned off by the misguided payment details. I hope that in the future they will be very clear to potential customers that they don't take take the credit card fee on their side. Update: Since I wrote this review I learned they are no longer charging the 3% cc fee. Great news, great company for listening!...

After the storms rolled through a couple of weeks ago, one of the old oak trees in front of my house decided it wanted to come inside for the storm. Instead of the door, it came in through the roof! Luckily me and my wife were at a friends house when it happened but coming home to a sight like this was shocking to say the least. Knowing that the rains were going to continue we were nervous about our things, not to mention more damage. After the tree guys removed the tree, they recommended ARS. After looking at the massive hole, the salesman told us it could take weeks to fix due to backlogs, but they would put a tarp up as a temporary fix. The temp fix worked great as the rains came again the next day, but none got into the house! ARS came back a week or so later and they had it fully repaired in less than 2 days! All I have to say is, customer service throughout this whole ordeal was fantastic and the speed of service could have been faster but during a storm season, I can understand. I am so happy, I had to create an account and write the review especially considering some of the others seem so mean! All I have to say is Thank God for insurance and Atlanta Roofing Specialists!

My experience with ARS was disappointing. The quality of their work was only acceptable after demanding they return to fix their initial work. Their customer service was basically nonexistent when it mattered, and I would not recommend them to anyone that I know.

The work performed at this customer's home was exactly what we had proposed and what he was charged for. This customer didn't like the way the repairs looked aesthetically so we went back (at no extra cost to him) and re-did the work in a manner that would have been more expensive originally. There were some issues trying to re-schedule the follow-up repairs but that wasn't entirely our fault due to the fact that this customer is very difficult to reach by phone. I feel we did everything possible to make this customer happy and sincerely regret that he wasn't completely satisfied.
I normally do not write reviews, but Atlanta Roofing Specialists went so far above and beyond that I made it a priority. My experience with this company was superb from beginning to end. Their office staff was very courteous and helpful. I even loved the fact that they worked with my schedule when scheduling the job. I also appreciated the level of detail and the quality of their work. Everything was done exactly as they outlined it in the contract. I hope that all Kudzu members make the right choice and use Atlanta Roofing Specialists.

ARS provided me a schedule of 10/26/2012. I never received a call nor an email to explain why they did not show up to replace the roof on that day. Still unto today, 11/3/2012 they have never called to explan. Atlanta Roofing Co. wanted me to sign a contract that had no date when the work would be done. I explain to Rictor Vipond that I had to have a date. I understood if it rained that the work could not/would not be done. Finally he provided me a scheduled date of 10/26/2012. As I said they were a no-show. I would never recommend this company. Aweful customer service.

ARS did not and will not guarantee a specific date without a signed contract. We asked this customer to send in a signed copy of the proposal and told her we could get the job done on the date she requested but she never sent the signed copy. It was clearly explained and she would not sign the proposal. We simply can't start work on someone's home when they haven't given us written authorization to do so. We regret that we were not able to serve this potential customer because we highly value and appreciate every customer and every job.
Atlanta Roofing Specialists were knowledgeable in the steps required to ensure a good roof installation...especially the requirements for flashing of all kinds. They offer a good warranty on their work and were very professional. Good cleanup after the job was completed. My contact at Atlanta Roofing Specialists was Rictor Vipond. I highly recommend them.

We called and the guy showed up and went over three areas for repair. A crew came and fixed one and left. I called the company and complained and the guy came sales came and chewed me out for calling the company and said it would be another $500.00 to fix. My family room ceiling fell in during the next rain. fixed all and repaced roof. R. Harrison Powder Springs.

THIS IS NOT OUR CUSTOMER!!! Atlanta Roofing Specialists Inc. has NOT done any work for R. Harrison in Powder Springs. This person obviously has us confused with another company. Unfortunately, KUDZU has no verification system in place to make sure that ANY review is from a credible source. So please keep this in mind as you read reviews on any company. Mark Rutherford, VP
