The Atlanta School of Aikido is an exceptional place to learn Aikido. The school's three rules: don't injure anyone, don't let anyone injure you, and don't injure yourself provide a safe place to learn and practice. Sensei Feldman's positive and caring attitude along with his wealth of Aikido knowledge and experience make the classes exciting and enjoyable. The teaching methods used simplify the art of Aikido from memorizing hundreds of martial defense maneuvers into a set of basic attacks, methods, and finishes. These interchangeable parts, combined with footwork and the matching and blending of energy and forces allow the students to rapidly progress and more easily recall the techniques. Aikido techniques are related back to the roots of the art through instruction of weapons with Bokken and Jo.

Do Not let the environment fool you. Just because the classes are taught in an athletic club does not take away from the quality, care, and attention of the instructor and more experienced students. Everyone I have met through this school are focused on the true aspects and lessons of Aikido. Everyone, including the students are there to help you learn at your own pace and are concerned for your safety. Never before has there been a school of martial arts where it is far more beneficial to be new and openly admit that. Egos are checked at the door and everyone is there to learn. If you want to commit to the study of Aikido, this is the ONLY place to go.

I have been a student for more than a year. In this time, Sensei Feldman has demonstrated a wealth of knowledge and skill that has benefitted me and allowed me to grow in this art. Friends and family alike have commented on the positive changes that have occurred in me. I have Sensei Feldman and the "Atlanta School of Aikido" to thank for that.

Sensei Feldman has particpated in developing a system of instruction that is easy to learn for new students. This quickly gives them positive experience. Students learn from senior students who themselves knew little before Sensei Feldman taught them. I encourage anyone interested in learning Aikido to check out the Atlanta School of Aikido.

Sensei Feldman is an excellent mentor who teaches you more than just Aikido in class. He is able to give different approaches and examples in class that reaches all people from all walks of life. He encourages his students to perform at their own level while respecting their partners experience level. After examining various dojos, I know I have made the best choice by learning Aikido here. Please stop by and talk to the other students, view our class, and attend a couple of classes to get a better feel of what our dojo has to offer. I am sure that your positive experience will help you decide where you want to train.

Not only is The Atlanta School of Aikido extremely affordable but also has the highest quality of instruction available.Sensei Feldman is a fifth degree black belt,a gentleman and a scholar. His leadership is reflected by a host of articulate and well accomplished senior students creating a safe, open and friendly enviroment. The atmosphere is very welcoming to beginners and experienced martial artists of different background's and skill levels.Seven years ago I was fortunate enough to find this Dojo.I highly recommend this school.

I couldn't find another school in Atlanta that offers such high-quality instruction at such reasonable rates and with NO contracts. Sensei Feldman has created a safe, friendly, and supportive environment for learning the art of Aikido. Class size is small enough for individual attention, yet big enough to offer a variety of practice partners. Most importantly, advanced students are encouraged to seek out beginners to practice with. When I first started I was amazed at how generous the senior students were in helping me with the basics. After seven years, now I'm a senior myself and I enjoy giving back some of the care and attention I received. Before you make a final decision anywhere else, come by for a visit!
