Great Deals To Be Had, 10/27/2008

This is a wonderful way to get an affordable, professional massage. I haven't had a student massage (or any other kind of treatment) here in years, but I get a 2-hour pro massage once every couple of... months. The one major drawback here is the noise level. People - students, pros and clients alike - are just too darn loud in the hallways and treatment rooms. Please remember to keep your vioce down; people are trying to relax!

Can't beat the deal

I've had two massages here. One was the best I ever had and one was average. But the prices are so cheap it's worth the risk!

Wonderful

You just can't beat the value for the price! Top notch massages and spa services (try the Spa Sampler - it's wonderful and gives you a chance to experience a bit of different spa services) from therapists who care. It may be minus the frills of a professional spa, but the quality is superb. Book in advance; sometimes you can get a last minute appointment or walk-in though.

Great Value

The student massages are well worth the $40. The only draw back is that they book up so fast and you have to book them on weekends only.

What a DEAL!

Great massage, great environment. The students are full of excitement about what they do. The instructors are fresh enough to be fun. This is NOT spa Sydell, I love a fresh kind of place like this for a nice, cheap massage. If I get a bonus at work and want to really splurge, I will go for the higher end places occassionally. However, I haven't for a while because this is such an awesome deal.

Benefits of a massage

If you want a massage for the benefit, you will get out of it. This is the place to go. Very reasonably price, 1 hr for $40.00. They really know how to work your tense muscles over.

great value

You can get a good facial or massage at ATlanta School of Massage for about half the rate of a regular spa. There is also a nice store with all sorts of spa items for sale. The atmosphere is friendly and quiet. And,you are helping educate young people who are trying to plan for a career.

Most affordable

As a regular Spa Sydell visitor, I went to the ASM because a friend had given me a gift certificate. While it doesn't have the atmosphere of Spa Sydell, it was a better massage. I couldn't get a student appointment so I got one with a professional and he was great. Not only did he give a great massage but gave me suggestions afterwards on how to get rid of the stress in my neck and wrists. That was the first time any massage therapist has offered suggestions - what a concept!

Service nice, but prices going up

This used to be the best deal in town, but now that the student massages are $40 (and climbing), it isn't a great deal anymore. You can get a real salon experience for $20 more. ASM just isn't worth it. It's also IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment! If you don't care the very day the new monthly schedules come out, forget going on a weekend!!!

Great for a no fluff massage

Great bargain massage - if you are looking for a massage purely for the benefits, this is a great place. It is a school, so it is not expensive, but keep in mind a teacher might come in and give some instruction. The students are good. The students don't take tips, so you can get an hour massage for about $40. If you like the atmosphere of spa, with free soda and lightly chiming music, then this might not be for you. If you want a good, cost-effective massage, can't beat the schools. They offer alot of spa services other than massage. Can be hard to get an appt. Sometimes you can get them at the last minute though. You can also get massages by regular therapists, not the students, but it costs a bit more plus tip.

Affordable Spa Services

This is definitely a teaching school, but it has come a long way since they moved to their new building which is much more modern and well laid out. ...
