The vehicle was trashed. The dealership refused even to vacuum it out. Our salesman was embarrassed and vacuumed the vehicle out himself, although we did wind up having to get it detailed the following day because it was so nasty on the inside. Mechanically, it seemed to be in fine condition, although the dealership had completed no inspections on the vehicle, and refused to do so. I also wanted to keep my college license plate from my previous vehicle, and I asked how this would be handled. I was told I would receive a regular tag in the mail, bring both plates to the tag office and have them switched out. I was also told that a valid emissions inspection report was on file for the vehicle, AS IS THE LAW IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA before a vehicle is sold. Fast forward to June 13, which was the date of expiration for the dealership plate on my car. I called Atlanta Toyota to find out why I had not yet received the plate in the mail. I was told that the plate was "waiting for me at the DMV." ?!? It was going to be extremely difficult for me to get over to the DMV yesterday before it closed, so I asked if the dealership could grant me an extension on the temporary tag. I was told "no." So I took off work early and gathered my documents and went to the tag office, where I was then told that THERE WAS NO VALID EMISSIONS INSPECTION REPORT ON FILE for my vehicle. Atlanta Toyota had blatantly broken the law by selling me a vehicle with no valid emissions inspection report on file.

We were looking for an older pre-owned Camry or Corolla. As we found out eventually, they are difficult to come by. Not unusual, as many are kept a long time. What surprised us was the crap cars, really garbage, that some dealers, including this one, are trying to sell..On our visit here, they brought out a 2000 or 2001 Camry...really rough condition. Unexplained rust spots on the hood. Odd place, we thought, as water could not sit on there.Truth was revealed when we checked the trunk. Dirty water several inches deep in the wheel wells!! So then we knew that was a flood car. Those are illegal, supposedly, to sell. But when mentioned to the sales guy, he passed it off saying that the prep guys pressure wash the cars and some water must have sprayed in there. I guess he thought we were really stupid to believe a story like that. Would not ever consider them if we want to buy a new one, after they insult ones intelligence llwith obvious lies. Those sales guys must go out for a few beers after work, laughing it up while they share stories about all the customers who fall for their line of b.s......

f I could give zero stars, I would. This is the most unprofessional car dealership I have EVER come across, from the sales representative to the sales manager. I was in the midst of attempting to obtain information about a potential trade in over the phone when the sales representative's cell phone called me, unbeknownst to the sales representative. I overheard him and his sales manager laughing and joking about my potential trade in value and heard the manager give the sales representative direction which ended by him saying, "give her this and LEAVE HER ALONE." I could not believe what I was hearing, the laughter continued. I followed this conversation with an e-mail to the manager, and he tried to explain himself without as much as an apology! The lack of professionalism and manner in which this establishment carries itself and speaks of their customers behind their backs has resulted in a customer who is happy to take her business elsewhere where customers are treated with respect. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I received a coupon for a $9.99 oil change on my 2001 Camry. I have always done all the work on my car. Of course before my car was given back to me, the service manager comes out with a long list of recommended services. 3 of the 4 recommended service, I had already done a few months back. First one was changing the drive belts. You could see that the belts were new, who were they kidding? Second recommendation was a new battery, there was a big sticker with a 9/2011 installed on the battery...hmmmm could they have missed that as well? Third was to rotate tires....are they kidding, I get my tires at wal-mart with life time rotation and balance? If I had taken their services, my 10 buck oil change would have turned out to be over $300 in services that I didn't need. Do they think we all have "sucker" written on our foreheads? They must really think we're stupid. I didn't argue, I told them I would be back at a later time. After getting my car back, I double checked everything to make sure they didn't sabotage my car. The oil and filter were changed, but my battery cable was loose. Luckily, I had my trusty tool kit and fixed that right away.

Since purchased, I had always taken my vehicle to Atlanta Toyota for service and maintenance. One day there was a 2.5 hour wait for service and I reluctantly had to take it to another local Toyota dealer for service due to lack of time. When my wife took our Toyota back for its next service (her first time) she was told that we couldn't get the same deal we had always gotten because it has been so long since our last service there. She was belittled for even asking and was treated as if she was trying to get something for nothing when she was just trying to get the same service we had always received. It makes me wonder if they have something against women since I was never treated that way. Because of the way she was treated she refuses to go back. When we received their survey, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the way she was treated and the fact that we were being 'punished' for not being 'loyal'. After almost 2 months of emails and even copying their General Manager, I never received a phone call or satisfactory response and moved on to another dealer. Apparently Atlanta Toyota doesn't care about their customers enough to pick up the phone when there is an issue. I would stay far away from Atlanta Toyota. They are only interested in your $$$ and don't have any real concern for their customers when they have a problem
