Needed a downed tree segmented and a dead tree felled and segmented. Quick turn-around, very reasonable price.

Had a VERY UPSETTING experience. Work quoted and crew showed up on time. Dale carefully pointed out the work to be done: trimming back limbs that were over or near the house. Then he left and the non-conservation minded(non-english speaking?) tree cutter took down half a tree and removed half the canopy before even getting to the overhanging branch. When Dale returned he appologized and agreed that that was NOT what we talked about and offered to reduce his fee. The rest of the job went as described and they even did extra work taking down an additional tree. They did a good job cleaning up and were polite - but I am still left with a decimated tree. So best to be on site to watch the work being done.

Found ATE through Kudzu and contacted them 02/15 for an estimate, and had a meeting that night. A quote was ready in minutes and they offered to do the work two days later. Dale even came by the day before to treat the hardwoods for pine beetles and termites. The work team was on time Saturday and a full walk through was done before any work started. We were even able to make changes before the work began as we decided to have two trees removed. All work was completed and all budgets were kept to. While the work took a little longer, it was due to our having extra work done, so I can't fault them for that. And while we did have an issue after the work was done, Dale went above and beyond to ensure everything was right. Our trees look great and we have plenty of firewood for the future.
