I cannot honestly dispute anything said in this review. Every aspect, every sentence, is accurate in and of itself. She was on 3/24/15, the jobs before her took longer than expected and her, and two other customers mind you, were all rescheduled because we ran out of time that day. We hadn’t notified her yet of a new date at the time she called us today. The only thing that is missing, to explain why a company like ours, with the reputation we have, would let this occur, is context. I can assure, it was not by choice or preference. This customer picked the right service on the wrong week. Our company is managed and operated by 8 people. This week, 3/23/15 to 3/27/15, we have been running at half size. Our GM Bobbie lost his Aunt on Monday. He flew out on Tuesday to Jersey, the day Customer was scheduled for, and won’t be back till 3/28. Second in command Rick, who actually left a week ago to get treatment for stage IV lymphoma at Dana Farber in Boston, where he originally hails from, and won’t be back till May. Under him are the two supervisors, Rhett and Brian. Rhett was out both Tuesday and Wednesday and Brian was out Tuesday, both sick, and Rhett also had to put his cat down Tuesday. This left four people to run the operations of a company that truly requires twice that. Needless to say, there are lots of things we are behind on, such as scanning and emailing invoices to customers, sending customers pictures, doing some estimates, but in particular we are behind on scheduling because Rhett, Brian, and Rick are the only ones who do the scheduling. No one else has every done it, or been trained to deal with it. We hadn’t forgotten about or dismissed this customer in any way, we just had one of our worst weeks possible, with lots of sickness and tragedy to go around, and we were not at 100%. We believe in full transparency, which is why I am explaining this in the detail I am. What this customer experienced was completely true, but it is the rarest of rare experiences. It’s as rare as seeing a comet and an eclipse at the same time you win the lottery. On any other week in the entire history of our company, we would not have been so understaffed that figuring out a new day and emailing it to this customer would have taken as long as it has. If the customer had waited just 60 more seconds on the phone, we could have figured out the new day for her, and even if she hadn’t called us, we would have been caught up on scheduling and notifications by 2 this evening, which was only a few hours after her call. I’m sorry she is upset, and that she feels we are deserving of 1 star for a service that we had not had a chance to perform. If she would give us another opportunity, I know we could turn her opinion around. Had the three people who do the scheduling not be out sick the last couple of days, one of them with Cancer, she would have gotten her date on the 25th.

Very happy with the crew and job done. Will DEFINITELY be using them again! On time and professional. I was not home at the time of service. I had a minor issue once I arrived home. Customer service was excellent! They sent the crew back to my house and made sure I was happy. Highly recommend.
This is the second time we have used this company to have our gutters cleaned. The crew manager said he would leave a note to have them leave things better than they found them, since we were spreading new pine straw last weekend and had initially anticipated gutters would be cleaned before the pine straw was spread out. They did a great job and did in fact leave it looking better than they found it as we had not yet swept back some of the pine straw that had fallen on the driveway and sidewalk near the front door during our work last weekend. Thanks for a job well done!
I scheduled a service for gutter cleaning a few weeks ago. ABGC were prompt in their reply and did a wonderful job cleaning my very dirty gutters. They even blew excess leaves off my deck and driveway, which was a lovely gesture. I'll be scheduling service with them again in the future.
Shondale, Jamie, and Dan were punctual and professional. We discussed some additional work I wanted done, beyond what we had purchased via an Angie's List deal, and then they went right to work. The driveway, patio, and walkway are pretty easy to clean, especially with the right equipment, which they brought. The roof is another matter. We had some moss growing on two shaded sections, and some mild discoloration underneath a chimney. Shondale first sprayed the area with bleach (at least that's what I think it was), and then rinsed it. When he was done up top, he came down and rinsed the bushes that had received some overspray. They started at 3:00, which is when they said they'd start. They weren't able to get everything done, even working an 1+ hours beyond the time they had planned to finish (we have a large roof), but before they left we scheduled a follow-up day when Shondale would be available to finish the work on the roof and the sides of the house. The only small criticism is that they forgot to put the picnic table back in its original spot when they were done. Given that it was out of sight behind the house, and they finished as it was getting dark, long after a normal dinner time, so I don't blame them at all for the oversight. it's easy enough for a friend and me to put back. Not having used a lot of other firms, I can't honestly testify that they're "the best", but I don't doubt it. I know they're excellent.

This company charged me to replace missing shingles that were not missing before they arrived. I verified there were no shingles missing before they arrived, but that did not stop them from showing me pictures of missing shingles AFTER that cleaned the gutters. They knew I could not get up on the roof so I had to pay for the repair.
This is not true, unfair, and illogical. When the crew arrives to do a gutter cleaning, they do an inspection of the gutters and the roof. We inspect everything, shingles, ridgecaps, vent boots, flashing, anywhere where there is noticeable issue. Our inspection is thorough and not a glance. I honestly don't know when or even if the customer actually looked at his roof before hand, but when we were up there, out of the hundreds and hundreds of of shingles tabs on the roof, we find 5 ridgecaps with cracks. Ridgecaps are shingles that are bent at a crease to go in the ridges and valleys of the roof. Because of the crease, the shingle already has a crack. Over time, the sun, wind, rain, hot summers, freezing winters, cause friction and erosion to these bends and they crack, especially at the edge of the roof where wind come from the bottom and top. We've seen houses that are brand new, less than two years old, with cracks in ridgecaps at the edge. Now when we did service for this customer, he said nothing at the time. It was a year later, when we sent him a special offer, that he responded with this insulting claim that he made again a crew leader who has been with us for 5 years without any incident or claim like this. The crew leader he is accusing of this has done work for us on about 10,000 homes and never had any accusation like this. We've done service for this customer once, and after our crew recommends a repair that we found, which the customer clearly has a choice to approve or not approve, he approves it, pays for it, and a year later, all of a sudden it was a scam, when he even says we showed him pictures. If we were really the company he is trying to show us as, there are much more expensive things on the roof we could have "broken" as well as more shingles. The truth is we saw 5 shingles that needed replacement, he approved it, we replaced it, and now he has some kind of buyer's remorse and is attacking us.
The men were courteous, efficient, did a great job of not only cleaning out the gutters and removing a small pine tree from one, but found a issue with a roof vent and ridge cap, showed it to me on their cell phone and then repaired it..I am very pleased. thanks again!!!
This is a great company! They came out the day after I called to schedule my gutter cleaning. The guys were courteous, efficient and FAST! My yard and deck looked better after they left than before they came. The roof and gutters were spotless. Price was extremely reasonable for 2 experienced and INSURED workers! Did a cleaning on 3/12, after 2 months, I found out one gutter is still holding water. Was told they would clean again for free, but ended I paid another $85 for that one piece gutter. Will never use this cleaner again.
You had your gutters cleaned on 3/12, which was half a month before April, which is the month that contains the second largest falling of pine needles and leaves of the year (first is Dec-Jan of course). With all the pollen and leaf fall, you system got filled again. When we went back to your home, which was 4 month later, not 2, the system was full of fresh debris, debris still in whole form. If the debris was old, it would have been decayed into mush, which it does after 6-8 months. Anything we left from the previous cleaning would have been decayed down and since everything was fresh and new, as you saw your self, I don't see how you can be upset at us. The only way we would have done it for free was if the system was full and overflowing because it was our fault. Since it wasn't our fault, you had two options, pay for a cleaning, or we could have left and you wouldn't have had to pay for anything. No one forced you to get another cleaning, and yes, one gutter was $85, but that is our minimum trip charge, as it states on both our website, in every email we send and our invoices. We have a guarantee, and that guarantee last for 45 days, which this was way way way outside of. We came out anyway at no charge at your behest just in case we did miss something, even though we didn't have to because the guarantee had expired; but we didn't miss anything, it was all fresh debris. I feel a negative review given the actual facts of the matter is completely unfair, and how is 3/12 to 7/23 2 months? And how can you expect absolutely nothing to fall in your system in 4 months time with pollen season and 40 inches of rain this summer? I ask you to rethink the actual facts in the matter and remove your review, sir.
We just had your service and were very impressed by the price to work completed ratio! We have a 6500 sq. ft. house with clogged gutters everywhere and the team cleaned everything out and spotlessly cleaned the ensuing mess on the ground, decks and everywhere inbetween!…we even have a pool in the back yard with a huge patio that ½ the houses gutters hang over and they cleaned everything. Highly recommend!
I wanted to believe all of the positive reviews, but I should have known right from the start that this would be a disappointing experience. I will try to be brief and hit the main points: when I set up the appointment, the price was double what is advertised on the website; when I asked the scheduler when the actual appointment would be, she disconnected me ( or hung up on me) and didn't call back; it took over a week for someone to actually show up; due to a rain storm that occurred during that week, I had to clean the majority of the gutters myself; I specifically asked for some repairs to be done - they were not; no return call on the repair work; and today I discovered roofing tiles they knocked off in my yard. I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this company and their level of service.
This fake review is disappointing. This is just a competitor putting out a false story. For starters, we do not have prices listed one our website. Second, we always email people a date, and it usually takes a week to two weeks, so this wouldn't be a surprise to someone booking with us. We can't do repairs for someone without their approval of the price, and and no one has contacted us about damaged shingles, which would be impossible for us to do anyways. If this was a real person, they could call us to address these issues, but based on everything written, the fact that this is the first review this person ever posted, and that we haven't received any feedback from any customer in YEARS that matches these details, and that we do not have prices listed on our website, I am 99.99999% certain this is fake, desperate, and unethical
I just had my gutters cleaned and was very happy. I mentioned to Brian that I needed a new roof, and he gave me an estimate on the spot. He explained in detail the price, etc. I was so impressed with his great customer service that I called the office immediately to schedule a roof replacement. I spoke with Rick and he offered to give me some discounts, along with explaining all the work that would be done. These folks are very customer friendly, and I would recommend them to anyone.
