Had successfully used Atlantic Relocation Systems in the past, but after this experience, never again! They damaged a couple piece of my furniture during a recent move and even though the driver filled out paperwork stating the damages happened, they refused to pay. It was one excuse after another... piece listed as desk not a bookshelf, items were already damaged, you disassembled the pieces yourself... anything to deny payment. So, had my lawyer give them a call and then suddenly they "carefully reviewed my account" and decided to pay my claim. DO NOT DO BUSY WITH THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY!!!

I had a gentleman by the name of Curtis come to my house when we moved to Phoenix about 5 weeks ahead of our move date. I sensed immediately he had a very easy, reasonable and trustworthy way about him and gave small pieces of advice to us even if we ended up choosing another carrier, which I really appreciated. Their pricing is competitive but their thoroughness in inventorying my house far surpassed the other moving companies I got quotes from. Others spent barely 15 minutes in my house whereas Curtis spent nearly an hour going over coverage in case anything gets damaged and plenty of relevant steps for the move, telling us of his 30 years in the business--which clearly showed. On our actual moving day, everything went smoothly with moving staff that are part of the company with their own careful incentive program (I am told) rather than seeming like some outside hired hands who don’t know what the company wants for our move. Being their big summer moving season, Atlantic was clear that they could really only give date ranges for our end of delivery in Phoenix—not guaranteed dates as we kinda hoped—while the other moving companies seemed to reflexively wish to guarantee a particular date even if it seemed like they couldn’t really. I kinda felt that they were overpromising which Atlantic calmly wouldn’t do. I highly recommend them.
Terrible! They "lost" 2 of my boxes with irreplaceable keepsakes that my great grandmother gave me. Their claims department was very cold and not helpful at all. I am still dealing with them after 4 months of moving. Avoid at all cost!
Hello Karabee. I am truly sorry that your experience with us has been less than favorable to this point. I have been reviewing the related history, and I can see that the time that has passed has not helped with your perspective on things. However, I can assure you that during the time that has passed, efforts are continuously being made to rectify the situation. Long story short, my things were delivered later than I needed them to be and cost me additional money and stress. Had this been a move in which a delivery range could have been acceptable, I would have excused the delay and other problematic occurrences. However, I went with Atlantic because my representative continuously reassured me that he was confident that my belongings would be delivered on a specific date. Lastly, without any justification (How charges were calculated, etc.) or notice, Atlantic charged my credit card for the discrepancy in cost as a result of their estimation miscalculation. Therefore, I cannot recommend Atlantic Relocation to anyone who must have an exact delivery date or cost quote, or who expects good customer service from those with whom they do business.
TCJ1221 - We understand your concerns and would like to address them. We reviewed your file and thought that we had reviewed the overage and discussed the pricing difference of a few hundred dollars. Your shipment went over the space allocated by almost 50% but we worked on your behalf to keep the additional cost to the absolute minimum. Good Evening Andy: I hope this email finds you well! I had a good feeling about you from the start and the same of John Cuthbert, Oh man, was I right! :) We have moved A LOT and this is by far my favorite move! Never thought I would say "favorite" and" move" in the same sentence. Let me classify this... Andy, you got us a quote so quickly and you came out to our home without any hesitation. You did the best that you could do on the price and for this we thank you a million times! You know how to earn a customers trust very quickly. To top it off you send the most dynamite crew to load and move us. John Cuthbert, Tevaris( sp) And Eric are just all around stand up gentlemen. John Cuthbert, is obviously at the top of his game without a doubt. Tevaris (sp) is SO awesome! And Eric well, he's a breath of fresh air. They came into our home as true professionals. They asked me not touch a thing and to sit down and relax because they were there to help 110%. They didn't complain or get frustrated ONCE and I threw some twist and turns at them. They kept me laughing and my spirit high the entire time. There is no doubt in my mind that if most moving companies had trained crews like John, Tevaris and Eric they would have a formula for success! I can't thank you guys enough. I wish you all the best. From the first contact with Andy to the final box being placed in the container -- it was a very professional experience. We went with them because they had experience moving out of the country and they would work with an overseas company that was paying the bill. Andy was very knowledgeable and engaging. The movers - a team lead by Wendell did an amazing job - careful, thorough and polite. Thank you to all!
Wow! What a great moving company. At first, you see how much company's rates are for moving. Then, you see the difference in what you pay for. After using local cut rate moving companies in the past, I'll never go back after using Atlantic Relocation. Andy was our Service Representative, and he was great from start to finish. He set up our initial meeting and assessed how much we needed to move, and he was spot on. We had no issues prior to moving day. He also called afterwards to make sure our experience went well. Nate, Bobby, and Ronnie were our movers and were fantastic! They were very professional and had great personalities. Being extremely careful of our belongings, they knew what they were doing. It look a little longer than expected, but they got the job done and correctly. They deserve some recognition as they were awesome. I would highly recommend this company to friends and family in the future.
We moved from south Georgia to England. Andy gave one of the most detailed quotes/contracts and the price was towards the cheaper end of other quotes received. He called to check the day of. The movers sent were quick and professional. Our container arrived within one day of what Andy told us, and cleared customs in one day. The movers arrived exactly at 9am on delivery day, and were done in 3.5 hrs. I had heard lots of horror stories on base about movers - NONE of those proved true for us. Would use Atlantic again for future moves.
Worse movers from a guy that has moved many times. Not professional, dirty equipment, damage many items, did not work on timely basis and awful customer service.

This company took the greatest care and consideration with all my things. I was extremely pleased with how they wrapped, crated and assured the safe storage of my things. I would DEFINITELY recommend this company to anyone moving anywhere in the world. I am moving internationally and they made an inventory list so going through customs would be much easier. We move our household items from Atlanta to Vancouver,Canada. I went through big Van Line companies and asked for on-site quotes. After serveral reps' visits, I almost wanted to cancel the last appointment with Atlantic Relocation. I thought the first offer was the best. Lucky enough, I didn't. Andy Orlin showed his professional, impressive customer communication skills and estimated the lowest quote price. I liked his efficient way that he quoted from system via iPad immidiately and showed us details. It was a good start. After we signed the contract, I started worring. I found detail items were not matched exactly to what we showed. Andy responsed with patient and adjusted items and price accordingly.(Problem solved). More worries when I handed over all the goods to the team. I checked with his assistant to follow-up status. She anwsered the phone politely,although not always had anwsers for me. You have to pray that everything will go well and your items will be arrived safe and in one piece. The shipment was supposed to be arrived on Dec 10th, but I was told it would be on Dec 14th instead. Anyway, it was a happy ending. The Atlas Van Line team showed up on Dec 14th. They did professional unload that they put carpet on the floor and delivered items to assigned locations. Everything was nice and smooth that day. Overall, we are satisfied with their service and would recommend for international movement.
I called to request a quote for a local move. We were on a tight deadline with a cash buyer wanting to close as quickly as possible. I first asked if Atlantic would be able to move us as early as next week, and they said they absolutely would. When Scott showed up, I had another moving company just finishing up giving me a quote. (He was early and they had taken longer than I expected.) After about a 7 minute wait, Scott was very short with me and told me that he could just give me an email quote without even looking at the house. Then, he changed his mind and said that they were totally booked for the day I had requested. Was he threatened that I would have another company offer me a quote? I'm not sure, but the first gentleman that came out was very polite and thorough. Too bad Atlantic couldn't have taken that kind of time.
I contacted Mr Andrew Orlin. He was professional,available in person, helpful and friendly, answered calls texts and e-mails promptly from start to end, when I started freaking out confused from getting more than one quote he stayed present. The crew of 9 under Paul was on time, worked together, fast and super efficient,friendly and smart. Friends, I KNOW relocation is a stressful affair, and I know experiences vary, based on mine so far, I am taking the time to recommend these people/this company highly.(If I knew kudzu had a photo option I would have SHOWED you!!)
