Never Shop There!, 12/05/2011

Just got back from Audio Zone here in Orlando. I was told they would be able to fit a new fancy radio for my new Smart Mercedes. Not so much. The guy was lazy, inattentive and basically didn't seem... interested in the business. I explained that I had found a 'kit' on the internet for the 2012 Smart Car, but he just shrugged. I guess they don't need the business. If anyone knows of a nice Orlando Car Audio store that would like some business, please let me know! I will NEVER shop at Audio Zone again!

Very pleased, 11/08/2010

Im from out of town and found Audio Zone by google. I went to several other car audio stores in Orlando before coming here. Went in with the intention of just getting two subs and a box, and getting... everything else plus install at best buy. Seeing the huge amount of inventory they had on the floor, I figured they may have some good deals. I was right. Not only that but the owner who I dealt with was very straight forward and helpful. I was impressed so I asked about the 6x9s and 6.5s and he cut me a good deal on the spot. So then i decided to ask about an amp and installation, and altogether I saved at least a couple hundred bucks what I wouldve paid at best buy. And they installed it on the spot. It took a few hours but it was worth it. Great service and great prices. Glad I ended up going to Audio Zone. It remains to be seen how everything holds up but right now going on the service and how everything looks and sounds now I have little worries. Highly reccomend.

I had my third car done there ,,i did recommend it to all my firends its the werehouse of audio my god thats awsome deales i got ,,thanks guys ,\r\rand to the previous poster you are full of it , i think you are one of audio zone competition up the road ,

Ghetto Customer Service

I went into Audio Zone about 6-7 months ago for a head unit install. The owner Ahmad was very kind on the phone and gave me a fair price on the install. However, once I got there, he changed the price completely telling me the head unit he told me on the phone was just sold out, but they had a bigger, better one for almost twice the price. I mean, what a horrible sales scam... Just because you got me in the door does NOT mean I am going to buy your radio player for double retail value just to get you out of my ear. Furthermore, I presented a receipt in which they had done my tint a while back and they said they did not recognize the signature on the receipt because of its age and therefore could not replace my incorrectly installed tint. Seriously, it might seem worth it to get the cheap price at first, but in the long run it will break and if you got it installed at Audio Zone, good luck.

Best in the area!

I just hooked up my alarm and cd player with awesome speakers for a great deal. The staff was very professional and helpful. This is one of the nicest, biggest audio shops i've ever been to. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

Worst customer service

I bought a alarm system here and the alarm goes off exactly 5 hours after activated. Went there five times already trying to fix the problem. The last time I went there, I called before I went, and the owner (Ahmad) told me he would swap the alarm system for $40. I didn't agree at first, but went there willing to pay the $40 and just get the problem over with. When I got there,he says they don't have that particular system in stock,but he ordered one just for me. Then they took a look at my car's alarm system again for the 5th time and told me the technician fixed the problem this time. In case it goes off again just come back next week and we will install the one I ordered. Went home and the alarm went off. So I called the store next morning. Tray ,the cashier, told me the owner was busy,couldn't talk to me, but proposed to ""upgrade"" for a diferent system for $89.99. Since the system they installed on my car is 4 year old and they can not get it anymore. Why do I have to pay again for something that never worked? He said that is all they can do. Asked to speak with the owner again. Tray,the cashier, came back pretending he was the owner. Please put the owner on the phone. He insisted he was the owner. It is a joke this place. Why can't the owner speak to me? Can't keep his word? Not to mention my third visit there. A techinician named Brian,treated me very very bad. He was very rude. I parked the car on the back, where they install the alarm system. And he asked: What do you want? I already told you, your car is fine. And then he told me to take my car out of there, because my car was blockin the way.That is the kind of treatment you get when you go to this place. \r\r
